Every thing we do pretty much has its own language. The finance industry has its own terminology, politics has theirs, medicine had theirs, and on and on. It's not that Vapers are trying to "complicate" things, its simply what we as humans do.

1. If you have an rba and want an easy coils system, rip trippers reviewed these things called vape doughnuts.
2. You don't have to get hard core into the community if you don't want to. Its perfectly ok to be a casual. But i would suggest you don't rock a boat you aren't even in. Let those of us who want to have our hobby and terminology have it.
3. Rip trippers may be eccentric however there is a difference between you and him. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to vaping. You do not. He is making money off vaping. You do not. Don't insult someone for doing their job its rude.
4. If you don't want a mech mod YOU DONT HAVE TO GET A MECH MOD. not everything has to be your business you know. Just because you dont see a practical use for a part of a hobby doesn't mean you need to comment on it.

Okay, here is just one woman's viewpoint on some of what you're complaining about. I am a 72 year old grandmother to 18 wonderful grandkids, married for 49 years to the same man. I would say I live a pretty conventional life, with a few detours in my younger days.:)

I also smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day for over 45 years, and really wanted to quit. I knew absolutely nothing about e cigarettes, other than I had seen some Blu commercials on TV which intrigued me.

I am not at all technologically inclined, hate math, and wouldn't know what an "ohm" was if it smacked me in the face.

That said, I have had no trouble whatsoever with the terminology and linguistics that I found on this wonderful forum. From the day I joined here a little over 3 months ago, I have been treated with the greatest kindness and patience. I've asked dumb questions, and then more dumb questions, but I have never been made to feel "dumb" here. Someone always was patient enough to try to understand what I was trying to say, since I certainly didn't know the terminology to ask.

I totally disagree with your notion that the general content of the ECF forum makes people hesitant to pursue vaping. On the contrary, there is something for everyone here. If you want to blow big clouds, someone will help you. If you want to just quietly and discretely vape, someone will help you with that. I don't want to rebuild anything, or wind any coils, but if I did, this would sure be the place to find out how to do it.

What I wanted was to find an alternative to killing myself with cigarettes, and I certainly found that here.

You ma'am, have won this thread tonight! ;) Seriously though, while YOU may feel like you don't know a whole lot about "vaping" as a whole, and therefore have much to offer, it's peoples stories like yours, that have helped me gain two weeks back of my life, without putting a single cigarette to my lips! Congrats on your success as well, and may we ALL continue to help each other!

"3. RBA's aren't necessarily better than protanks and vice versa. Some people like to tinker and get the performance they like, some don't. These ideals are SUBJECTIVE. "

Exactly....well said, that's why some people buy stock cars and bikes right off the lot, and others buy used, rare, classics and fix them up into high performance monster machines! Wait a minute...I do that too!

Only if you can understand thishttp://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/lounge/527787-who-lanceq.html and if you can understand that then you will be able to understand all the mysteries of the universe!

I am reading that thread now...

We need to check her posts to see if she posted on April 1st. It's weird that I know the only date that LanceQ posted... illuminati?

I have posted most days since I joined. That one may be an exception, but I promise it is a coincidence. I had some things going on with one of my kids that day.
I am curious to know why you think I am this elusive...character?

Oh my god, lanceq was on my profile too!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I'm friends with lanceq (or Queuey as I fondly know them as) now... we are tight like when you try to unscrew the bottom of a clearo with juicy hands kind of tight...

Don't be afraid, step slowly but boldly toward the light.

If this so-called Jason Smith is lanceq then somebody sure did get his undies in a twist. I don't know how to feel about the thought of being on the greatest lurker known to man kinds bad side.
Then again... I am friends with lanceq as well. I think he may be as obsessed with me as I am with him.
(I'm strait y'all)
