So... Another new guy.

Hey all! Figured I might post an intro.

30 year smoker, and tried everything out there to quit. Only thing that worked for a time was basic training! Went to the gas station and got an NJoy. Good thing I had cigs with me, as that hunkajunk went right out the window! Finally bit the bullet and walked into a vape shop. Got my little evod and a battery and haven't looked back! Picked up a tank about a week later (Unitank - I wouldn't advise getting it), and started making the good thing happen with the little increase in airflow, and a Vision Spinner to be able to play with the voltage a little bit.

Was having quite a bit of fun with the not smoking, and the 18 mg nic was just hitting the spot. Got several juices from different vendors and was having a blast. Started wondering why everyone talked so much about all this flavor when most everything I bought seemed pretty muted. Then I bought a mod and an RDA.

Built what I considered a pretty good couple of coils for a noob, wicked that sucker up and got my first hit off of that puppy. FLAVOR! NICOTINE! OH, THE NICOTINE! (new to RDAs but vape at a high nic? Get something low low low to start with.) I'm not even sure my coil got fully heated before I had to break away from that puff. Enough on the nic. Start low. Seriously.

FLAVOR! Oh my at the flavor! My favorite vape to this point is the Five Pawns' Bowden's Mate. Mint and chocolate.... yum! Expensive, though. On a recommendation from a vaping show, I got what I was told was comparable from another company. Vaped in the evod all you could taste was a light chocolate, no where near the richness of the Bowden's. Lesson learned, I thought. Vaped in an RDA? The mint showed up, the chocolate mellowed out, and the taste was quite nice. Or, what I could taste was nice. Has anyone mentioned not to use higher nic levels in a dripper?

Anyway, it's a fun ride to be on, and I've passed the one month mark without a cig. Good Lord willing, I will have smoked my last!
