Yet another new guy.

Sept 29th marks 1 year for me quitting analogs cold turkey. (after 40 years full flavor). My Wife and Daughter are still smoking and I have been working with them and got them trying out vaping for their health and the health of our finances. Current setup for both of them is eGo t 1100 battery with a Kanger Protank 2. Started them out with 24 mg Nicotine (which someone told me was too much?). Plan on gradually lowering the Nic levels. I also have started vaping with 0 Nic but can barely taste any flavors.
Question: Does the Nicotine help bring out the flavor? Maybe I should get me some juice with a little bit of Nicotine? Want Tobacco flavor (non menthol)

Welcome to ECF! Grats on quitting, keep it going! I started at 36-38nic and worked my down to 24nic after my 1 year celebration

Quite the opposite, nicotine appears to mute the taste for some people, to others the nic imparts a peppery taste. The level of PG also determines flavor strength to a degree as it is able to carry it better than VG. Is the juice one that you normally vaped or something new? Might be time to try new flavors.

I started with 36mg nicotine and 1 and1/2 years later down to 3mg I mix my own juice and the flavor is great .
