Ive been an iphone user since the 3. Ive had them all up until the 5. I realized looking at the 5 at Verizon that except for a little exterior upgrade theyre all the same phone. i.e. rounded to flat back, 1/4 inch longer screen. It just wasnt enough for my to drop $3-400 on the same phone.

Instead I went with the Samsung Galaxy 3 then the note 3 (my current phone) and I havent looked back! I use my 4 as an ipod.

I had an iPhone 3GS that I enjoyed very much back in the day. Partly because of the ease of replacing the screen/digitizer when it broke! In due time, the phone had become outdated and I required a newer one. My wife had just purchased an iPhone 4 - and *broke* the screen! So, knowing how to do cell phone repairs, I set out on a quest to repair her phone... and they definitely make them to be replaced, not serviced. Ever since then, I've been using Samsung phones and will never go back to Apple. I repeat, never. And I have a hateful relationship with iTunes and its assortment of always-on services it installs in the background. Yuck.

Call me simple but I like the ease of use with my iPad & iPhone. It does all that I require so it works for me. As someone who managed a mobile sales company until about a year ago I get the appeal of both. It really boils down to the person. I went from blackberry, to android, to the iPhone 4, then the 5 and the 6 this past week. I only need a new phone every 2 years so Im fine waiting for my 2 year upgrade:) So far I'm liking my new one & the features I've had a chance to play with. I didn't know how much I'd like the bigger screen (I opted for the 64gb with the 4.7 inch screen) but I like that as well. It's just big enough for me personally:)
