So apparently, the evic and an xray machine don't mix?

It could be a total coincidence since I've flown a few times with my evic before. However, I recently had made a trip and ran my eVic through the x-ray machine as usual. When I reconnected everything and turned it on, all my data disappeared including my RVW configuration. In addition, I swear my eVic is running hotter than what is displayed at times (50% of the time). 6 Watts feels like 10 Watts and so on. Coincidence? Maybe. But it was worth noting.

So I tried running the reset file included on joyetech's website and the eVic wouldn't accept it or at least I don't think it did. I also reinstalled the latest firmware. Neither of these steps changed the odd behavior.

I know we can check Ohm's of an atomizer but is there an easy way to confirm the voltage sent out of the eVic itself?

Works fine on the eVic, but not on the lower pwm devices.

also maybe a stupid observation, but you have check at the atomizer, as the evic won't fire if it doesn't sense one connected.

I would think that with you completing the circuit it would work, but honestly not sure, haven't tried it. I will tonight just to see

I was just checking voltages again, and noticed that the voltage sometimes changes midway through a vape. I dont know if the eVic constantly monitors atomizer impedance and makes changes. The voltage shift occurs more in VW mode, and only slightly in VV mode.
No profiles set, and battery is 80%. Tried it will both 1.7 and 2.8 ohm clearo. I suppose a straight resistive dummy load would be better to test with, but it's never been an issue with me.
