With my nautilus mini and mvp 2.0 duo, I went to the vape shop and bought 1.8 coils I let it sit all night and dry burned it here and there, there is still no flavor I changed up my liquid and got it somewhere else to just to make sure it wasn't cuz my usual suppliers liquid being too thick or what have you.. I'm wondering is my battery going? I've had it a long time idk how to tell if it's going to be honest, I'm getting so frustrated I'm about it I'm about to throw it out a window wth am I doing wrong????? :( :(

What do you mean by a long time? I dont know how long that model has been around, but if its a year or 2 old and you charge it daily, it might be on its way out. Also if you tend to drain it all the way to the point it wont fire before you charge it, the life span will decrease significantly.

Other questions:

What wattage are you vaping at?
Are you still getting vapor with no flavor or is it not firing at all?
Whats your PG/VG ratio?

I can't recall all the things that were discussed before. I do know that I used my first spinner battery for a year, faithfully recharging it twice a day. It wasn't until I got a new one that I realized it no longer produced much power at all. Even the new Spinner batter that came with my nautilus was a revelation.

Do you know someone else who vapes? Maybe you can borrow/try out their batter and see if that makes a difference.

Did you properly prime the heads by dripping 5-7 drops on top of the screen in the head until the wicking material is fully saturated?
You must prime new / unused heads or they will scorch/ burn.
Dry burning a nautilus head will ruin it, the wicking material will scorch & burn which severely reduces its wicking ability. That leads to little to no flavor or burnt taste also reduces vapor.

I've had it about a year or more now, and I do use it everyday the battery manual said to charge it after the battery fully died, that's what I've been doing, I've tried all different wattages I've been messing with this thing for a week and some.. I'm not quite sure of my pg/vg ratio on this stuff I just bought

Thanks! I'm thinking I should try that just to rule out it being my battery going, in a way I hope it is cuz then I would know why I can't get it to work

So the dry burn might be your issue. The battery might be on its way, but I have no experience with that model so I cant say for sure. You should ALWAYS prime your wick. Someone in another thread made a great point, very few store owners and manufacturers mention priming the wick because if the consumer keeps ruining wicks, who makes more money?

NEVER dry burn a coil with a cotton wick. It will burn the wick and that kills all of the flavor. It basically ruins the coil.

I hate to say this, but you'll have to try again. Install a new coil. Prime the wick by dropping about 4 drops of juice into the coil. You may also want to smear a little juice from the bottle into the holes on the side of the coil as well. Fill the tank and put the base on it. Install it on your mod and let it sit about 15 minutes. Then take 3-4 puffs without firing the mod. After that it should be ready to use.

The flavor may seem a bit "off" at first. Sometimes cotton wicks have a little break in period before they work right. Shouldn't last too long though, maybe 1-2 dozen puffs at most.

I can see one problem you'll likely run into though. The MVP 2.0 is a little underpowered for the Nautilus tanks. Ideally you'll want to be in the 13-15W range with a Nautilus and the MVP 2.0 maxes out at 11 watts. This is going to reduce your vapor production a little and you may get a bit of gurgling or flooding from the tank. I would suggest moving up to at least a 30W mod. If you want to stay cheap the iStick 30W is very good for about $35.

Good advice everyone, wish I found this site earlier. I had to learn almost everything about vaping by trial & error & it got expensive, but now I have a good system with Aspire stainless tank, e-go twist batteries & 6mg coffee liquid. Smoked for 45 years & just decided after vaping one day to just quit cigs altogether, had a few issues from withdraw symptoms but they went away after a couple of weeks. It's been over a year & it's been absolutely 1 of the best quality decisions I ever made. lol, I can vape in the house & wife loves the smell, but for some reason she seems to want a cup of coffee all the time

Sorry for your troubles, but this is how I would vape with that combo:

Prime coil. Insert coil and fill tank. Take primer puffs (drawing without pressing the fire button). Set watts to 6 initially for 30mins. Then play around 8 watts to see what the best wattage is for you.
thanks! I'm gonna try that now!

I've had what sounds like a similar problem. I went through 4 coils in a week for my nautilus. I run my tank on a mvp 2.0 as well. I think there was a poor quality batch of coils floating around. I only had the one week of blowing through coils, then it was back to normal which is about 1 coil a week.
Sounds like I may be having that same issue!
