wow, i can't believe i started this thread almost 2 years ago...

... i actually recently re-visited the boiling method with little success. I boiled an LR306 , an LR510 and a regular 510... afterward they were all basically the same... the LR510 was a goner, it didn't really improve the vape in any way

i haven't found anything to help the performance of an atty, sometimes i will blow it out and give it a little "dry burn" , to remove unwanted flavors i will sometimes soak an atty overnight in vodka, then blow it out, and let it dry

Dry burn and rinse w/ hot water...

OR blow it out and soak it in Crest Pro Health for about 1/2hr. Then rinse well, dry burn, and rinse again. You'll see actual chunks of stuff come off the atty when soaking.

If you needed atty tips, Nick, you should've just asked me ;)

I kid, I kid.

Interesting thread. I just bought some Everclear for the purpose of soaking and then blowing out (only bought the Everclear because I couldn't find any cheap 151 proof vodka, even though it is legal to sell in California). Just have to see how it goes, but I doubt highly that it would be worth continuing using Everclear, since I can get 5 new attys for 23 bucks shipped. More of an experiment tonight.

That could be $23 towards juice though!..... lol! But I see your point, its just nice to always have good clean broken in atty's and if it ain't broke why replace it.....clean it!
