So, just got my new Riva kit on Monday the 20th from LF (awesome Customer Service) and was a happy vaper. So today, my battery finally dies(I'm a light user right now) and my usb charger stayed constantly green while the battery was hooked up. So I figure, no big deal, it will charge. So not only did it NOT charge, my other battery died as well. With no back up charger (I'm a n00b, what can I say) and no back up battery and no way to get another replacement charger here until at least Thursday, I'm up the creek and just missed the last boat. UGH.:(

I doubt it's the charger. I hate to be negative, but I've had four Riva 901's from Liberty die on me now. All very quickly.
He replaces them under the warranty, but between the return shipping costs and the inconvenience : (
After my first two from Liberty died, I bought one from Litecig, since there's are a different manufacturer.
Even worse. After my 3rd one died, they refunded my money. I love the size, the length of time they'll stay charged and that they'll work with KR808 cartomizers, but they truly are junk in my humble opinion. Again, sorry for being negative I hate to bash a product. Both Liberty and Litecig did stand behind their product and honor the warranty, but having a product repeatedly die so quickly is very, very frustrating.

Are you using 1.5 ohm LR atomizers or cartos by chance?

I do have a suggestion. As you look into the connector end of the reva, it will look like a flat head screw. Try screwing it outward. This will make it stick up higher and it may make a connection with the charger. This did work for me a few times. This has happened to every Riva 901 I've had. After much time with google and reading post here and on other boards, this is only one of the design problems with the riva 901. The connector works it way in and it won't make a connection with the charger, so the charger stays green. The other flaw in the design is with the logic board on the inside and this can't be repaired. Eventually it shorts out and the battery dies. From what I've read these problems have gone on a long time. I found posts from people in 2009 with the same issues.
Agreed, both LF and Litecig are good companies, but I really hate the Riva 901. Good luck!

I just wish I'd researched it more before I bought my first kit. Any money I saved by buying the Riva 901 instead of a real eGo has been lost in the money I've spend returning defective products. Sorry to rant, but I had another one die again today and I'm shipping it back tomorrow. I've yet to have one last longer than a month. Once I have the two back and working, I'm going to sell them cheap with a word of warning to make sure you've got a backup PV. I've had enough of Riva, I'm moving on.

I've tried lifting the post gently making sure it came up instead of rocking, when the charger takes connection with the battery, the battery's led blinks five times but usb charger doesn't turn red at all.

Stare at the LED.... hard..... focus......you can do it........(sorry... lol.. must be real frustrating!).

Not that they carry riva's, but is Vapor Kings out of the way? Listed vendor here and located in Tulsa (Sand Springs).

*Note: not geographically inclined about Oklahoma

I actually bought the charger from them, they are about 15+ miles away from where I am. What's funny though is with gas prices the way they are, it is actually cheaper for me to have them ship it to me than for me to drive there lol.
