I am getting closer and closer to slipping and smoking an analog. It will be 3 weeks tomorrow that I have been smoke free and I love it but it is getting hard :(. I am missing the throat hit so bad and no matter what pg/vg mix I do I still can't get any kind of throat hit. I have a passthrough for my 4081 but it just pooped out on me today. Even with it though I wasn't getting that harsh hit I am craving. Any ideas or help would be GREATLY appreciated.

BTW: I only vape DIY now

Thanks everyone!

Havve you considered going up to a larger battery or a mod? I'd go with an ego - I love my ego passthrough battery (a lot of places have them now - I'm never the one with the "cheapest" supplier answer so I'll let someone else chime in and save you some money!) with a LR atty and a drip tip from goodprophets.com.

Even now I'll occasionally get a drag that's too harsh on TH, even on juices that are normally pretty low-key.

Wow alot of help very quickly :)

I am down to15mg of nic now. I am trying to get down to 0 but not sure if I will make it or not. I have tried cinnamon, peppermint, menthol and even kooloada 10% trying to get any kind of throat hit but they are all so smooth that I get none :(.

I don't have any pre filled carts at the moment but I will have tomorrow when hubby's kit comes in the mail.

I smoked a analog the after going 24 hours of vaping only and it was so nasty I couldn't do it so I know I wouldn't smoke the whole thing. The problem is I don't want to even light one. I have done so good so far and all I really want is that throat hit soooooo bad lol.

I do want to get a ego but with everything spent the last three weeks on the e-cigs and DIY stuff I have to give the spending a break for a bit :(.

Trying to lower your nic level that fast is not giving yourself a good enough chance. If you are wanting to get to zero nic, I think you need to give yourself a good year to achieve that goal. I'd go up to 24mg and after about 6 months, maybe go down to 18, then after 3 months 12 or 9, then 3 more months to zero. If you just quit smoking you have to get through the withdrawls from the other chemicals in cigarettes. Don't try to get off the nic until you've beaten the other stuff first.

Thomas that is great advice thank you very much! I had only vaped 24mg the first two days and have been on 18mg up until two days ago. I think I will go back to the 18mg and see if it helps me :). I just dripped a few drops of some 24mg I had laying around and dang I got one heck of a buzz going on LOL.

I wish you luck. As I said in the other thread that is very similar to yours, it took me a full year to not want a real cigarette. So just be patient. You are already on the right track.
