Is it the Claritin or the lack of cigs that has me suddenly wanting throat hit?

Before this week, I hated just about any kind of throat hit from e-cigs (although juices that inhaled like steam were too weak). This week I've been taken Claritin every day. I've also been cutting down my cigarettes and I've now gone over a day without one. The strange thing is I'm finding everything has a really weak throat hit and am now craving something much stronger. Does Claritin work for PG allergies (or possibly the burn on the back for the throat from nicotine) or is it the lack of cigarettes that increases your tolerance to a strong throat hit?

If it matters, every time I've quit smoking in the past I've started up again with Nuports, but quickly end up back with Marlboro Ultralights...

Tastes and needs do change over time when vaping. In the beginning I needed no throat hit and loved VG juices for the vapor production. A few months into it and I have to have TH in all my juices. I believe it is lack of cigarrettes that increased the need for a strong TH for me. When I try to smoke analogs now I pull and pull on it trying to feel the smoke.

Menthols and cinnamons will somewhat give you a bit more hit if you have an allergy to PG.
