I'm relatively new to vaping, and very new to this forum. I am so confused about all the technical terms tossed around....I feel like I will never learn them all! I have no clue how to DIY, although I am interested in finding out if that's something that would be up my alley or not. I have no clue what "drip tips" are or what it's even referring to. As far as technical terms used to describe various setups, don't even get me started. Seems like a foreign language to me. And ohms? What exactly are they? I know they are used to describe resistance of coils (I think), but still clueless as to what they are. I have, however, figured out what B&M is (brick and mortar store as opposed to online stores - right?!)...and, well, that's about it. Can someone please enlighten me in plain English, please? Lol....for someone who's supposed to be really smart, I feel quite uneducated!

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

ok here is a basic crash course in electrical theory.
so you have an ordinary garden hose, this hose will represent the wire of the electronic circuit and the water will represent the flow of electrons.
Voltage or Volts is the like the water pressure inside the hose.
Amperage or Amps is like the speed the water is moving at
Resistance or Ohms is like the back pressure caused by friction.
the Watt is a unit of power, Volts x Amps = Watts.

drip tips are like the mouthpiece
here is a selection of drip tips https://101vape.com/16-drip-tips
they come in different sizes.

I have pretty good luck with new things by keeping myself on a "need to know" basis. If a term seems to relate to what I'm trying to find out about, or am interested in, I do like Kodiak and look it up.

I'm a pretty simple vaper, and haven't wanted to get into all the rebuilding and mechanical terms, because I'm not doing that. If I decide to, then I will look up those terms.

Just remember, smart and educated are two very different things. I consider myself a smart person, but I was just as lost as you when i started. It gets better! ;) Let your vape education commence!

Thanks!
