I don't really need the chargers. I have lots of 14500 and 18650 from being a flashlight nut. I bought it mostly for the Ego Twists to give away to friends, and the 2 mods look fun. I've never rebuilt anything but did order some kanthal and wick to play with that should be here soon. All those tank parts look like it might give me something to rebuild..:) So how did I do? One challenge will be just trying to figure out what goes with what. Like what are all those round ring things on the left? And the lanyard with a wingnut bolt on it? ...?

That does look like a pretty good deal! However I don't see anything that looks really rebuildable except maybe the coils for that clearomizer in the upper left. The rest of the tanks are cartotanks and I don't think they are rebuildable. I've never used one so maybe they are but I've never read of anyone doing it.

Otherwise good score!

Seriously. I was shopping for cheap ego twists to give away to friends I'm converting from cigs. That has 3 of them. Plus 3 cases to give them. Plus an Ego charger to give away. That's exactly what I was looking for, and was worth the $45 to me. The rest of the junk was like OMG, I need it! It was a Buy it Now that was just listed so I jumped on it :)

The wingnut thing is a carto punch.

Why would I punch a carto? It didn't do anything to me..:) I've got a couple mega dual coil carts from Madvapes that came with my starter kit. They work fine. If I punch holes in them won't they leak? I hate being dumb. I have 6 and 7 year old children so the syringes will come in handy. "If you can't be quiet and fall asleep daddy can give you a shot" :)

all that stuff for $45? Looks like a good buy; course you never know how long those batteries are going to last.

Those tanks are carto tanks.

Those round things I'd guess are the tops and bottoms to cartotanks, they go with the cylinders. The lanyard with a wingnut is a carto punch for making holes in cartomizers (the things sealed in plastic). The little silver thing in the center just below the mods that looks like a drip tip is a DCT filler tool, it's used to fill cartotanks easier.

carto's for cartotanks usually come prepunched with holes in them so the liquid in the tank can get into the carto and wet the wick/filler.

Before carto tanks were made, there were just plain cartos/cartomizers which you screw onto the battery directly and either toss when they run out of liquid or refill using a syringe; to use them inside a tank you would have to punch holes in the side.

Ha! You just gave me a great idea for my rowdy bunch! Thanks!

You punch holes in a carto to let juice in from a cartotank! I don't think cartotanks are known for leaking either. Lots of people swear by them like Baditude! He could probably tell you everything and then some about cartos!

Just for reference the tanks attached to the batteries are cartotanks.

Ok guys. I have enough info. TYVM. You've been super helpful. I might give all the funny carto-tank stuff away but I'll try one first. Right now I'm a n00b with lots of gurgling/leaking/burning fancy iClear 30's and mini Novas and other fancy stuff that sucks. So I'm using just EVODs. I love EVODs because they just work. I'm willing to try other stuff, but I'm not sure I want to mess with it.

Try the cartotanks! They are simple and fiddle free. I thought I would go crazy until I tried one! lol. You can find great info on how to set it up the first time in baditudes blog - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/4830-8-cartotank-help-noob.html The stop all of the insanity and just WORK. :) ymmv, but I hope they make your life easier!

As far as your batteries from being a flashlight nut, be careful that they are the proper chemistry for vaping. You need high drain IMR batteries. (baditude blogged the battery detail too, because, well he is awesome! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-9-battery-basics-mods-imr-protected-icr.html)
