Ok, at the evil prodding of this forum, I decided to buy an atomizer and drip tip for my kr808 from Vapor4Life. I bought my 901 atomizers from Madvapes, along with one derlin drip tip.

I blew out the atomizers days before I dripped. Eventually my juice arrived (also from vapor4life, a gift from my brother), and set about learning.

I dripped, and vaped. No flavor, plenty of vapor. I was expecting more flavor that cartomizers, so I figured I was still breaking in my atties. I experimented with amounts of drops, flavors of drops, got juice on my hands and had to blow it out a few times. The joys of trial and error.

No gross flavors, no burning car taste. Maybe mild flavor from my strongest juice, the Peppermint Icecream, but it was just a little minty. I got hints of cognac from my cognac juice, but nothing compared to the cartomizers I normally use. I got virtually nothing from the Coconut and very little from the Clove.

I did get vapor.

Puzzled, I've decided to give my atties a solid cleaning with hot water and rubbing alcohol, and am currently letting them dry.

I have the vague feeling I'm not doing it wrong, but I'm not getting any real flavor out of this experience. Are cartomizer attys just a better match for the kr808 than the 901 atty? Should I start looking for a higher voltage (since I'm looking for another pv anyway)? Or is this just part of the break in?

All my new juices are pretty low nic, between 4-8, does that have anything to do with it?

When I drip, I use an LR atty on my 3.7v mod and a reg atty (both joy attys) on my 5v box mod and I always order extra flavor with my juice and I consistently get great vapor and flavor. I have never used a kr808 or 901 attys (I have only used 510), so can't help there.

Make sure before you use your clean attys that you prime them. Drip a couple drops right onto the bridge and 3-4 drops through the hole on the connector side. And, yes, attys do have a breaking in period, just be patient, doesn't take long.
