Okay ECF, I bought a standard VapeUSA Ego CE4 650mAh blister pack not even quite a month ago and honestly, seem to have the oddest luck with this brand of ego batteries. =/ The first one I had just was outright defective and after swapping out the battery with in a day after purchase, it's been doing alright up until the past two days. Yesterday I had issues getting the button light to stay on. I was hunting all over the button area to just see if maybe it might. I managed a couple of times to get it to momentarily light up, but I barely could get it on long enough to provide much vapor. Today, it's not even lighting up if I'm holding the button down BUT will do it's standard three flashes when I put it on the charger earlier .Still nothing . =/

I take care to clean them, not drop them, I even keep my tanks off to keep it when not in use, but even this newest one has crapped out on me three weeks later. I only use my pen 1 - 2 times a day for about 10 minutes or so, unless I'm out with friends (which is only once ever other week).

So, I'm turning back to here to look for an upgrade! I'm not currently looking for anything overly expensive, preferably under the $50 mark due to upcoming traveling (willing to pay a little more if something recommended catches my eye) , and preferably still in a pen style. [Eventually I'll get my MVP I'm dreaming of, but for now, I'll hold off a bit longer unless that becomes an overwhelming recommendation :2cool:]

Sorry if this seems a bit confusing and I'll try my best to respond to any questions when I can. I'm just tired of feeling like I'm getting the short end of a stick here.

And Also sorry as well that I'm posting this under the newbie thread. As a newbie still around ECF, I'm not quite sure where else to have put this ><

You know you can get the mvp you've been dreaming of for less than $40 online which is 20% less than your $50 top end, right? :)

+1 on the MVP v2

1. Huge (2600 mah) battery
2. Variable Voltage - Voltage can be adjusted from 3.3 ~ 5.0 in 0.1 volt increments
3. Variable Wattage - Wattage can be adjusted from 6.0 ~ 11.0 in 0.5 watt increments
4. Ohms Meter - Reads the resistance of your atomizer
5. Pass through ability
6. $40 shipped at many online stores (actually saw it for just under $35 at 101vape yesterday (site is down for maintenance right now)

Pair it with a mini Naulitus with the new BVC's (bottom vertical coils) an you will have a great vape.

By pen style, do you mean the small ones that are automatic voltage? I started off with an ego twist, and have continued to use adjustable voltage batteries since. I've tried the little batteries, but I prefer the slightly larger ones that let me adjust. The most important part is turning the battery off when you're not using it (mine you click 5 times quickly and they turn off), so that the button doesn't get pressed in a pocket or a drawer and drain the battery.

There's the MVP2, the new MVP 20w that's about to come out and the IPV mini. I would suggest any of these. The eleaf istick is a bit more discreet, but not as nice as the others.

For a tank, sounds like you're needing a nautilus mini.

LIke anything else, you can keep buying and replacing cheap gear (getting a terrible vape the entire time) or spend some change on a decent set up that takes care of you. The latter will be more cost effective in the long run.
