I am not sure what the differences are per say...I am a noob...But my Riva rocks w/LR atty and cone...with a regular atty it hits "ok"...But with the LR it has a great hit...I think it simulates higher v vaping...(someone will correct me if I'm wrong)...If you have a Riva ...ya gotta have LR attys....JMO..Happy vaping... :)

oo that's a good thing! I was reading they don't last too long on lower mah batteries so it being on my riva should be ok?

not sure as i dont have any experiance using them i just do a lot of reading on here. but if that is true i think you should be good with the riva as it does have a higher mah rating. im sure youll enjoy it very much if the videos ive seen of lr attys are true.

Close, LR Attys do have a lower resistance which means they burn hotter and take more battery power. That's why they aren't recommend for lower mah batts like the standard 510 etc. With the Riva, Ego and above size and spec batts you should be fine.

Because they burn hotter they simulate a higher voltage vape without moving to a mod. Higher voltage can enhance flavor and vapor production, depending on the juice, some calim some juices taste better at lower voltages, ymmv. They generally don't last as long in comparison to reg attys and they will drain the battery faster. I still get well over a day on my Riva with a LR Atty but I'm not as heavy a user as some.
