You guys! My Smokeless Image order is out for delivery. I am SO excited :O
And I have to pretend that I'm not.
Cause that ain't cool.

Pretty sure most people that know me suspect I'm not quite sane, wouldn't want
to give them any more reason to think that :)

Trying to figure out an excuse to go home around 2 in the afternoon ...
and deciding what to buy next LOL!

I feel the same. Every now and then I think of what else to purchase to make my vaping experience cool and awesome! Earlier I just received my new pouch to have it hanging 'round my neck or hooked on my belt straps! Hmm... What to buy next.. chillyou.jpg

Well - I got the package and I don't think the mail guy is going to file assault charges after all - so that's the good news.

The bad news - well, I probably should have just skipped this.

Don't get me wrong - that raspberry Volt battery is pretty! Smooth and sexy and all but I really disliked all the pre-fill flavors i got. I'm not sure that this really gets me much farther than I already was with the Blu. No indy juice yet so the jury's still out on the x2/ec4 combo.

Still I feel vaguely dissatisfied. It's probably just me being me but whatever right?

I'm leaning towards a ego mini/ mini nova set up and maybe a bigger ego for hanging out at home. I need to look for a picture to see how those two things fit together. I got recommendations on another thread for a kgo but I don't understand why that's preferable to an ego or really even what the difference is at all.

i'm in no place to say anything, but i believe it may have to do with the ego battery being regulated at 3.4v (not sure if all ego's or specific non vv models) and the kgo's are 3.7v'ish or unregulated. why that's important i would have to venture another "i believe" out there regarding hotter burns and different ohm'd cartos and what nots and how it relates to different juices and this and that.. and i'd rather not. so i'll let someone with confirmed knowledge answer.

i just wanted to post in your thread since you were nice enough to post in mine :)

sorry your package wasn't as exciting as it could have been. the search continues?

Hi Lisa - are you getting some juices? I tired some Vape Dudes and Mt. Baker Vapor recently and liked those with X2 and clearo or CE3. you get 40% off the first VapeDudes order and Mt. baker Vapor I found very reasonably priced.
Oh.Leever is right - Egos are 3.4v.
X2s are said to be 3.6v, although I think they're really 3.7v. Some have measured them at that. I believe KGOs are too.
Some good juices and a clearo or tank you like make a big difference. Hope you find the match you like.

The eGo is 3.3-3.4v, the Volt X2 is 3.6-3.7v, so is the Kgo just a different thread for attachments. I have used it all and would choose the Volt X2 or Kgo over the eGo any day of the week. My suggestion is find a good juice. I liked the Smokeless Image juice at first because it was sooooo much better than the first crappy kit I had, but when I ventured out and found other juice vendors it made a huge difference. My favorite vendors for juice is Kick Bass Vapor and Dark City Vapor.

Update: Whiny Vaper's Journal 9:8:12

Okay, so I've lived with the Little Voit and the Big Volt for >24 hours now.
Little Volt with pre-filled Watermelon cart - Big Volt with Grape

Impressions: I'm a dork.

Little Volt kicks Blu's ..... Held charge all day and night and still going. Used on and off with Big Volt all day yesterday plus additional testing by other interested parties.

Blu carts kick Volt's ..... Flavors not as good. Little end cap keeps sliding down into watermelon cart. Finish not as nice. Flavor pretty one dimensional.

Note: I thought Grape cart tasted like Kool-aid and was just ok. Interested Party #1 thought the same and LOVED it. Interested Party #2 couldn't taste anything at all.

Big Volt kicks Little Volt's ..... Okay, maybe not. Different form for a different function. I like them both. Big Volt's size isn't at all intimidating like I thought it would be. Biggest concern for me is that the clearos that I planned to get to go with these were out of stock when I ordered and I now know that they've been discontinued. The replacement is U.G.L.Y and has a non-removable tip on it that looks like a big black nipple and is still not available so maybe it will be awesome and I won't mind the whole big black nipple thing. Or else I may love it and just use it alone in my room. In the dark.

I do have a pack of the ce3s to try if and when my juice ever gets here. Keeping my fingers crossed that these aren't going to be as fiddly as I'm afraid they might be.

Over and out.
