So I have had my nautilus for quite a while now and I DO really like it, when I get a good coil. I just had 4 out of a 5 pack that were worthless right out of the package. Poor vapor production, strange nasty flavor, burnt taste ect ect. This is very frustrating because it means I basically paid like $15 for ONE coil. This is prob my 4th 5 pack of coils and I have yet to have more than 2 or 3 work well at a time. I am not into rebuilding yet and don't know when I ever will be so that's not really an option for me. The part I REALLY don't understand is that I physically can't tell a difference by looking at a coil that works well and one that sucks. They all read 1.9 ohm on my MVP as well. So what makes one good and the other so bad? Is there anything I can do to possibly make a coil work better? This is very frustrating and while I love the nautilus I may be going back to my 30s for a while. Anyone else as frustrated as I am?!?!

There was a convincing run of fake Aspire Nautilus tanks sold about a month or two back. There's some small chance I have one, but from the seller's reputation and my recollection of what the packaging looked like I think mine's probably genuine. If you still have the packaging you can verify the authenticity code to see if it's genuine. If it's not, that code would have already been checked multiple times.

But I've had similar issues with their coils and even though when it hits right it hits better than the Aerotank I still find myself using the Aerotank for consistency. I shelved the Nautilus because I got tired of burning through coils every day at only 5 or 6 watts.

I bought mine months back and checked the code and it's authentic, so are all the bad coils Ive had. The Nautilus is by far my favorite clearo but I can't afford to keep using it when I'm getting this many bad coils. It's VERY frustrating not being able to get a satisfying vape out of 4 different coils. 2 of them had a bad burnt taste right out of the package.
