So, guys I need some advice

Here's my situation, I purchased Vtube from Apollo around a week ago, ive purchased a bunch of juices since mostly 80/20 blends in many different flavors. My problem is I just cant get the warm satisfying TH im looking for. I use 24mg nic. I dont think the nicotine or the PG ratio are the problem. I figure the only thing I can change to kick up the intensity of the TH is through lower resistance attys/cartos? Is this correct? I would love if you guy could recommend some ways to increase the intensity of the TH. If you could recommend products compatible with the Vtube it would be appreciated or pointing me to proper adaptors if necessary. Thank you all

I should have mentioned im currently using 3.0ohm atty/cartos at 5.5v

What voltage are you vaping and what resistance cartos are you using? With the V-Tube, I would use a 3 ohm carto at around 5V. You may have to kick the voltage up a bit.

What OHM s are you using on it, and what voltage have you set it at? Almost everything is usable, unless they're faulty. Using a clearo?

Geez, sounds like you need to hook that atty/carto up to a car battery then.
You are going to get just as high a wattage out of that mod with a 3ohm as you will with a LR because of the Amp limiter.

Its weird I bought a cheap pen style before I upgraded. Much smaller battery, same nic level. But it was a better TH than my vtube... Maybe because it was a tighter draw, the vtube seems to give me a somewhat airy cool vape when I would prefer a hotter heavier hit. Hmmm

3 ohm @ 5.5V is about 10W, which is higher than most people vape. Are you sure you get 5.5 volts out of the V-Tube?

You're getting 8.33 watts with 80/20 Pg/Vg, I don't think it's going to get any better than that. You might want to try a heavily flavored tobacco juice?

I dont have a way to check if it's really 5.5v other than the display. I guess I could try some harder hitting juices. Anyone have an suggestions on that front? Still wont fix fact that I want a warmer vs cool vape. =(

try covering some if the air holes in the carto/clearo/watevero. Thats an old school trick i learnd on blu cigs...

Nice thing about a sealed 510-510 shorty adaptor, any type of draw problem below it becomes a moot issue.
There are several threads on ecf about fixing the airy draw on that mod, it is caused by vent holes at the bottom of the connector so that leaking juice can escape into the juice well.

look where the carto meets the conection, where you screw it in. Should be some kind of air channel so u can draw. Not saying this will work, but it may.... better than throwing across the room and scaring the neighbors, not that i've done that

Ill look into those threads TJ, maybe an adapter will help. R77 3.0 ohm high resistance 510 atomizer or 3.0 ohm dual coil cartos.

Silly the way the atty or carto fits, there is really no way to block the connection holes since its a tube style and has raised portion, I know what you mean though, ive done it will my pen style model. It isnt really viable with this model though =)

You have this Vtube right?

If you look down inside the connector you will see two small holes way down near the bottom that connect the threaded hole of the connector to the outer juice well. These make for an airy draw unless you close them off in some manor. An eGo cone will do it, a sealed adaptor will also.

Are you using a stainless Vtube? That's the only model I've heard of with known draw issues. A 510/510 adapter has been used to fix that. Otherwise, all you can do is try an adapter, but it sounds like a carto problem. Lowering resistance won't help. If you can't get good TH with 10 watts and 24mg, either the voltage isn't what it's supposed to be, or there's something wrong with the carto. The LT has some voltage dropoff issues at higher voltage but, unless you have a defective one, it isn't that severe.

I wouldn't use dual coils, even 3ohms. That might give you lots of vapor, but it'll be cooler. You'll get more TH out of single coil 3ohm cartos. With a 3ohm dual coil, you're using two 6ohm coils and only burning them at 6 watts each at 6V. Six watt vapor is not going to give you good TH, even if there's twice as much of it.
