Yes, I saw that and I am so glad that it comes in colours. I am getting my Vamo on Monday, hope pbusardo will do a review on this one soon because if its a good buy, I would like to get one next month...

More and more like the Provari. Just my initial impression from form and function. I actually like the aluminum body idea, as SS is heavy and chrome-plated brass is inferior. I chuckled at MVS's "oxidized aluminum" in the features. I believe it's anodized aluminum. Just an observation. 
If I hadn't just ordered a Vamo, I'd probably mount this train, but, really, I'm just after a displayed controller for a mod I'm building. I know the dna 20 exists, but I paid less for a Vamo, and the controls are similar and possibly superior.

thats funny. while i bought the vamo to use i also kept this in mind for the price VS parts gained lol
Plated brass is actually heavier than stainless steel. Both can take as much of a beating as you can practically dish out.
You can throw them at a wall ... run over them with a car ... get in a battle with a unicorn ... etc
Aluminum is less forgiving but if you're careful with your mod ... it probably won't matter regardless. Definitely more prone to denting if it drops from a decent distance or gets flung across the room.

i dont know.. i took the vamo apart and all the weight is from the solid brass connector on the top the rest is pretty thin empty.
now that i have pulled it apart to mod it i think the overall weight is deceiving of the actual heavy dutyness of it.

The tube itself is still pretty thick. Its not "holy crap" thick but its thick enough to be hefty. Id say its about as thick if not thicker than a nickel.
I know the crash tests for the Lambo on youtube shocked the heck out of me and I would assume the thickness and brass are probably about the same.
it's a piece of crap,save up and buy a provari instead! unless you need a backup don't buy it!
I wish they would do the Anyvape in emerald green...so far I have only seen the BAM and the Silver Bullet in green.

id be weary. aluminum is soft and I've heard this tube is paper thin. not to mention one drop and you could not be able to fit a battery in it (if it gets dented)
and my 27 dollar twist hit the floor and popped the cap across the room, never to work again, cant let the possibility of damage stop us from buying something or we would all be getting SS mech mods.
Aluminum will need cleaning more. But I like the RMS output, and the price. Been looking into a backup for my Provari. Left it at work once. Had to drive back to retrieve it a few hours later!
Back ups are a must with any device! Even the mighty ProV can break, it may not happen often but you do hear about it from time to time.
So you post a reply that it is a piece of crap and don't waste your time. I would like to know how you came to these conclusions. If you have one or have reviewed one then back up your post.
I have two aluminum tube mods, I have dropped them several times on various surfaces any were from 4ft to 8+ft. They have the expected scratches and small dings but no form changing dents.
I hope this person replies back, I am getting ready to order one for my better half and don't want to get her a sub par POS.
