Hey all! I'm new to the forum and still kinda new to vaping. Started vaping last August while deployed to Afghanistan. My wife sent me a starter kit from Smokeless Image. Within a week I had quit smoking regular cigs, quit dipping and was telling any one that asked about this awesome kit. Not 100% sure if its the best out there, but so far I have had very few problems with the product and had such a great response that I began selling starter kits to the other joes that wanted to quit. Pretty sure I'm on the right path here but still want to know if there is something I am missing. Or just a better product out in the vaping community! Currently I use the 68mm auto with the small nanos. used CE3s for a while. The needle used to fill them tends to freak people out a bit! But I still love the CE3 although they leak a bit. More than open to any comments or advice! Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your service!
I use Smokeless Image and think they are a great company! (I'm about to get into some bigger mods, but not relevant here) I moved up to the spinner batts and T3 tanks. I love them because you can fill 1 tank and take 1 batt and be good to go all day! If you're over the need to feel like you're holding a cigarette, check out the 1300 spinner and the T3's!

Thanks! I will absolutely check them out. What company do you use to order the spinner batts and tanks? I'm over the "need to feel like a cig" thing. But since I sell them as kits I think they present better than a larger battery. They make a good impression while I'm out and I get plenty of people walking up to me asking about them. I generally offer what I think is best from the Smokeless line and have had an awesome response. I'm just looking for something for my personal use, and just making sure I am offering a good quality product considering I'm fairly new to this!

Smokeless Image caries both... You have to "search" their page to find the T3s though.
I understand the first impression thing. I was that guy who said I'll only ever use "cig-a-likes", but here I am now using the spinners and about to buy a mod or 2 lol... Seems smokers have to spend some time getting over being a smoker and becoming a vaper lol.
SI sells quality products at a standard price, and for my money you can't beat their customer service!
Edit: guess you have to search for both lol, here's the links (may not have certain colors in stock, but they are supposed to be getting stocked back up after the Chineese New Year)

The Smokeless Image X2 Spinners are here: Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Volt Spinners - Variable Voltage Battery

These will provide longer time between charges, more useable power, better and more vapor. They also allow larger juice carriers, and triple the options available to put on your battery.

They will also allow you to adjust the voltage to the heating coils to adjust to each flavor that you use. For example fruit flavors at lower voltage, coffee or desert flavors in the mid-range, or something like a cinnamon flavor at the highest range. Experiment to find the best voltage for each flavor. Start low voltage and work your way higher in increments until the juice starts to taste burnt, then back down a couple of increments.

There are many types of juice delivery devices that you can put on your batteries. Each providing you with a different vaping experience. Everyone likes one or the other based on preference, experience, and setup. Here's a crash course of what is available for the larger X2 batteries:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3230-proper-terminology-carto-tank-what-juice-delivery-attachments.html

Just be aware that the majority of delivery devices from other manufacturers are 510 threaded. These can be used on a Volt X2 with the use of a 808-to-510 adaptor for under $4.

There really is no "best", simply what's best for any one person. Most of the people on this forum quickly jump to more advanced vaporizers like the eVic, Vamo or Provari, but a good number of us use the cig-alikes as well. What's best for me definitely isn't what's best for Baditude, but I still like him anyway. ;)

S. I. is a good company, and they put out good quality products so you're certainly steering everyone in the right direction. And they do pretty well when it comes to listening to their consumer base in terms of things we'd like to see.

One tip. I've heard it said by many who have been vaping much longer than me that bottom coil devices don't work well at higher voltages. If you do step up to the Volt Spinner, you may want to stick to the CE4's or even find some good quality vertical coil cartos to use with it, or other top coil and vertical coil devices.

I was the same way when I got hooked on 510s. I didn't understand the hype around all these huge mods when they started coming out, but I quickly got over the need to fake the cigarette look when I got into the habit of holding my PV at a 45-90 degree angle as most vapers do - if only to get the liquid to run down through the polyfill in carts - and especially when I wanted more power and fewer spare batteries to carry around, so I quit caring about looking like a regular smoker when I got my eGo-C; now I don't leave home without my Provari. The whole paraphernalia look still bugs me a bit when I'm vaping in public and noticing awkward looks from passersby, but it's worth it for the power and flexibility.

Even though I have moved on to mods, cartotanks, and even rebuildables now, I still often recommend Smokeless Image to potential vapors who feel the need for a cigarette-sized battery to start out with. Hey, they are where I got my start in vaping with, and got me totally off of cigarettes after one week of vaping.

And Johnnie, I still like you, too. :p

The feedback from you guys is great! Never expected such a fast response. I'll start checking into the more "advanced" vaps out there and just sell the kits to those interested. The response from the joes in my unit has been crazy! I'm putting kits together that provide the best that worked for me. 2 68mm bat, 1 pack of the CE3, 30 ml bottle of flavor (usually at 18mg), one usb plug charger and a hard case. All SI line. Offered at $60. I've heard the horror stories of people hearing about my kits and going out and buying a sub par brand.... they generally come running to me saying they should have bought these first. Thanks for leading me in the right way. Always good to hear I'm sending people in the right direction!

Yeah, I try to throw some love S.I.'s way too. They were my first upgrade after getting away from a crappy 808D-2 vendor.

But I'll probably suggest the Echo much more often. It's the first PV to actually KEEP me off of cigarettes.
