So, how do you carry your mod around?

I posted this in another thread yesterday, but this is what I use, attaches to a belt, so I don't think it would work well for a purse though. The strap with the buckle that is on the back flips around to the front to lock the mod in if extra retention is needed. It is made of Velcro straps, so I can adjust it to fit most mods.

With such a large variety of surplus grenade pouches available, I would think those would marketed to vapers a lot more than they are now. :D

I know, there are so many styles of "military" pouches that translate very well into vaping. And most of them are a lot cheaper than purpose made vape pouches. Mine is a communications (two way radio) pouch. I also have "taco" style magazine pouches that would work just as well.

Well, I only have two hands, so this limits my mod carrying ability. But I do have pockets, so another two or three is no big deal. Plus I tend to keep mods handy in places where I am likely to be, like home and work and in the car. And I have a few backups stashed around, just in case the one I'm holding breaks down, and the one that's supposed to be on the table right over there has been accidentally picked up and carried to a new location. My work toolbox has a really nifty electric station with 120v and USB outlets, so I have a battery charger in there, and one of the drawers is devoted to mods and juice and such; I doubt there's more than 5 or 6 in there. And I usually have a spare or two in the glove box, in case the one normally living in the cupholder is missing and it's too much trouble to stop the car and dig into the go-right-now bag I keep in the trunk, which also has two or three mods in it. And then I keep one or more in the kitchen. And the bathroom. And on my nightstand. And the living room. And on the porch by the barbecue pit. And out in the garage in my home workshop, the table saw has a holster for one, plus another on the miter saw, and in a drawer under the lathe, and two--one on each end-- of the workbench. Which, of course, doesn't count the half-dozen or so I have set up in the rotation on my desk by the keyboard.

It usually isn't a problem, actually.

So I take it that the point of this post is that redundancy is key?

Kinda makes me wish I had a mod (or 6) within arms reach everywhere I go without having to pack them around.

I have noticed, over the years, mods tend to accrete, like cobwebs in the corner. Every time I turn around, it seems, I find one I haven't seen in a while. And when I get a good one-- regulated mods, and usually not expensive-- I tend to buy several of them. I have, for example, three RX200s (I think), and two or three Predators and I have recently bought into the Squid Industries line with two DBs and a T21, while eagerly awaiting the Claymore, now in prototype. And a couple CoV Wraith. And a handful of Coppervape mech squonkers. And etcetera. Tube mechs are a different matter. I am usually satisfied with one of the originals, although I have maybe a half dozen clone Nemesis (plus a real one) as they are so versatile and handy. And only buying one of the authentics allows me to spread my available budget around for some more types. Perhaps the best thing about the advent of really good, and cheap, regulated mods is there are now some really fine specimens of top drawer mechanical vapin' iron going for 10% or less of their price new. Regulated mods are for vaping. Mechs are for vaping while admiring their beauty and elegance...

I'm complicated lolz
Summer time : Gpriv2 + Drop Rda - usually Ss or Fused clapton duals, in my shorts pocket or if it's a little less warm out i put it in a shirt pocket (you know straight top ones no idea what's the "correct" term) but that's if i'm going to work.

Winter: Gbox200 With either My peerless Rda or my Drop again, same builds
In that weather, it's pretty much always my coat pocket or sometimes jeans if i can or bringing it inside.

Both mods + tank setup rotate and change but placement never.

I’m not really an out and about type gal but when I do I put my mod in the change part of my purse without the tank and leave the tank in a plastic sandwich bag with another over for good measure in the center console. I use a battery case for my charged battery and leave that wherever in my purse. I also started just leaving a bottle of juice at work but before that I kept the juice double sandwich bagged as well. I keep my vape on a window ledge when I’m at work since my boss likes the smell and I can use it inside as long as I crack the window for my coworkers.
