Welcome to the ecf!! Well vaping dehydrates you so you need to drink more fluids. Also some people are allergic to PG or VG juices so if you end up being allergic you have to adjust your e-juice to one or the other, but that is about the only ones that I have heard of. I think the benefits outway any disadvantages myself!! Good luck and happy vaping!! :)

Welcome to ECF. Main disadvantage= you won't save as much $$$ as you think. You can save cash but this is so cool there is always something to try. Some are better at me in refraining from buying gear but I say I had a $15 a day habit and now when I reach milestones I buy something new. This is the longest I have EVER gone without a smoke in 28 years and I tried everything.

Hi Curt! I'm sure that someone will think of some disadvantages to tell you about, but I personally haven't found any. It took me a couple of weeks to try different flavors, cartridges & such - but now that I've settled on my methods (Ego battery & cartomizers for now)...it's wonderful. I haven't smoked in over 6 weeks which is a big deal for me.
You'll find lots of information on this forum, so I recommend you do lots of reading, and then experiment.
Best of Luck to you, and Welcome!!

Awesome Vapor sells the Ce2 rev 4's. try ECF10 or ECF20 to try and get a discount. cant remember if they offer discount or not. That is if you want to fill yourself. Make sure and get a syringe for them. I personally like to take all 3 seals out and soak them in water just under boiling for about 10 minutes and flush out with a syringe and hot water. dry out for 2 days on a papertowel or put them in the oven at 200 degrees for 2 hours. you can even crack the door open.

Pros of Vaping:
Saves me money. I used to spend around $300/month on analogs. Now that I'm vaping $100 or less does the trick...for now.
Tastes better than analogs and more variety. I can vape my morning coffee flavors and have a Chocolate Eclair flavor after dinner.
Doesn't stink or stain anything like walls, curtains, or blinds.
No more smelly, icky ashtrays or ashes everywhere.
So many different set ups to try. Vaping is creative and very personal in this respect.

Cons of Vaping:
Takes a little more responsibility on my part to keep things clean and organized.
Sometimes things don't work as well as expected and need to be modified.
Going out means planning "vape kits"...damn, that really doesn't sound right, does it?

At this point, it's still completely worth it for me to vape. Once you get a routine down it's not hard or even that time consuming.

Thank you all for the welcomes. A friend recommended this and several other sites to use for information and supplies. I am however having a hard time locating 510 cartomizers. Anyone have any ideas for good vendors who don't regularly run out of stock?

Litecigusa.net is where I buy 510 Boge and 808 Premium cartomizers. Fast shipping, low prices, low shipping fees, great customer service, and in PA, so it only takes two days to receive orders in Michigan.

The customer service is awesome.
The prices are good.
Shipping is fast.

I hear that Jonny. I have a few suppliers (3 hardware, 3 DIY) I buy from and stick with them. I do not worry about a few pennies and am more concerned that I know what I am getting and that it will be there when promissed. I will however give someone a try if there is a really good sale or they are carying something new.

You make it seem like Awesome Vapor had bad service, or that all I look for is a deal. I also suggested the code because more than one company uses that discount code, and its always good to try those codes when checking out from all vendors. Never said that Awesome even offered a discount.

By the way Curt, Awesome Vapor has service that matches the name, and would never suggest any company with poor customer service.
