DNC, please don't get discouraged. I turned a couple of boxes into trash too, before I got a working bbox mod.

You mentioned a 4xAAA box, I've been using the 2xAA size (for one 14500 battery).

I'm working on my first mod with the Warp RCA connectors; I used the female end in the battery box, the male end for the PV.

Can you post pictures please?

Here's the thread with directions:

I was using the 4AAA box with actual AAA batteries....im still waiting for my 14500 batt to come in....i was just trying to test the atty connectors....they failed....i cant figure out how to use the RCA connector....and i broke the switch, and ruined all of my rca connectors....and cracked the box.....sigh its just weird to suck so bad at this!!.....i have a brand new 2AA box, but no batts, and no switch, and no way to connect the atty.....any ideas??

Don't give up. Read the above thread link. Also Warp has some pictures in one of his threads on doing the RCA connectors. It took a little learning for me also. Here are my first 4 connectors, in order from left to right. The metal is lots better and I won't be using the plastic any more.

The 4th is a little longer because it is a 510, the others are 901's.
Don't let it get you down, just keep trying.

In reference to the tearing up a good battery: It's cheaper to purchase a 401 atomizer if your going to tear something up.

my 2 cents

Cheers!
