and the officer removes my PV from my mouth throws it on the ground and stomps it before I can even tell him that its a $50 cigarette. Big mess battery is destroyed, the whole thing separated the LED, the switch, and the battery itself are all separate from the casing. My issue is I am leaving on vacation and I need a new one ASAP, who has the fastest shipping that can get me a new device by Wednesday at noon. looking preferably for a 510. but as long as i have something for my vaca i will be ok

Was waiting for it to be moved, when i posted it still would not let me post outside of the Noob arena

Well after he realized it wasn't a normal cigarette he started questioning me like i was a drug dealer or something so after the first round of 20 questions I said "I feel like I am being harassed, I need to speak to your supervisor" Then he got really ....... So 20 minutes and another round of the same 20 questions and his supervisor shows up get the story and then i show him my whole "kit" with receipts manuals and everything for all my batteries attys carts juice EVERYTHING then I tell him a want to file a formal complaint..... blah blah blah i have to go to the station file the report.......wait wait wait wait wait wait and then after that wait wait wait wait and eventually before some time in 2031 i may get reimbursement from the city

The youngsters have no clue who Paul Harvey is.

David Frost who?

How about Morton Downey? He was my favorite semi-talk show host. Red socks and cigarette hanging out of his big mouth?

But, I disgress.
Did you file a complaint against the cop?

I was driving to the produce market the other day and had some old fart call me an ***hole. I was stopped at a red light making a left, and he was going straight pass. I was hitting my pv. Maybe in his youth he used to use a one-hitter and thought I was doping and driving? The problem is I drive a 4 door Buick Century (old man car) I'm almost 50 and my hair, beard and mustache are pure white. 8-o

That really sucks. Considering filing a complaint with that department's Internal Investigations division (different PDs give that kind of division different names). I know this can be hard for a lot of people to believe if they have been on the receiving end of rude (or beyond-rude) treatment by officers -- but there are a lot of PDs that do not want that kind of behavior from their officers and when it happens, they want to know about it. Someone who is wound a bit too tight -- well, it could be a warning-sign that they need to look into. If there is a legitimate complaint about wanton destruction of property, they should take it seriously. (At least I sure hope they would. I'm not in the law-enforcement biz but am related to someone who is, and I'm going by my recollection of his thoughts about this sort of thing.)

It would be one thing if there were probable cause but from what you've written, it does sound like harassment.

[And no offense meant, but I should add: if you yourself were being rude or uncooperative in any way, your complaint might not get very far.]

In my little hometown this thing would happen. If they saw the GG,Prodigy, magnum, screwdriver, I will be in trouble. They will think it is a drug thing.
The most likely take me to jail and keep my e-cigs. Than finally get out of jail without them. Maybe months before I would get them back. Maybe never get them back. 8-o I always carry two or more e-cigs:D

with the hundred of times I've been pulled over as big of a**holes as they were to me they never took a cigarette out of my mouth, always told me to put it out. They didn't like when I refused. I was outside or I was in my car, who the hell are they to tell me to put it out.

Anyway I would have flipped out on that cop right there, probably would have landed myself in jail. I don't deal with authority too well, so I try to stay away from it all.
