While I dont think it was right for the pig to stomp your pv, you should have taken it out of your mouth when you got pulled over. If you know they already have a tendency to screw with you, why push it by leaving a cig of any type in your mouth, which will be viewed as disrespectful. Ecigs do look like dugouts or one hitters for weed, especially by the way most people hit them (long slow drags). For this reason I choose not to draw attention to myself by hitting it in front of cops. Its great we arent poisioning others by vaporizing, but I personally think all these vape everywhere, anytime folks are expediting impending ban doom. We cant wait until we are in walmarts parking lot to take a drag...c'mon!

Anyway, keep in mind most people are not aware of nicotine vaporizing, which is another reason I try not to draw attention to myself cause Im sick of every vaping session being spent answering 100 questions by passerbys.

Again, its wrong of him to just pull it out of your mouth and stomp it, but c'mon man....by leaving it in your mouth you were intentionally drawing attention to it, along with appearing defiant. You really solicited the attention you received. A little discretion goes a long way when dealing with the cops, which you already seem well practiced at anyway.

You know I have to agree with VaporNebula on this one. Back when I was 18 I asked the local sheriff what the laws regarding under light kits was. He said they were legal as long as they werent' blue and red flashing as that can be mistaked for a police car. Years later I aquired a Jaguar xj6 and put a set of blue led lights under it, silver to black tint that was on it when I bought it. I came back home to visit the family (with 3 kids in car seats), I also had a system in it. 4x 12's powered by 2 separate amps. I wasn't blasting it as it was very late and my kids were asleep. Two police officers had someone pulled over, as I passed them one jumps in his car and starts chasing me. I pull over of course, my husband in the passenger seat and 3 kids asleep in the back, at this time I am 23 years old. Police officer approaches my car with gun drawn, now mind you I've never been in any trouble in my life so I'm freaking out. Roll my window down and he asks me where I'm going, I tell him and he starts complaining about my underlight kit, I explain to him that officer *used his name here* told me they were not illegal in that county. He couldn't say much after that but I feel he thought I was some punk kid driving around in an expensive luxury car that mommy and daddy had bought me. Once he realized I was married and had 3 kids he simply sent me on my way but I really hate how just because you have a different car or are out driving around after hours you must me a punk, drug addict, or drunk driver. I think they profile way too much!!!!

Now most police in my home town know me (good thing), I always get pulled over for some trumped up thing when I get a new vehicle which I think is crap but once they realize its me I don't ever get pulled over again. I would however be extremely upset if an officer smashes my PV. Expecially if its my prodigy because it doesn't look like a cigarette and could be mistaken for some sort of "paraphernalia". I hope they ask questions first, if not they are going to have one very upset woman on their hands!

It never asked for opinions on who was right or justified. It was not I who steered the thread away from the original point of WHO HAS OVERNIGHT SHIPPING. Several posters decided to take it upon themselves to pass judgment on the justification of the actions of the officers. So, I say to them if you were not willing to answer the original question why did you reply?

Similarly... you could have simply asked "who has overnight shipping" and
NOT provided any details of WHY you were asking. Period.

You added more information about the frequency of past run-ins.

You outlined the citations. So, some just took it from there.

And some believe there is a norm... an average... a 50/50 point on the
scale of acceptable behavior. Anybody who lies in the extreme, on
EITHER side, is wide open to the critics. And I would say being stopped
twice monthly makes you fair game, pretty much.

We did not NEED to know, but for some reason, you felt compelled to put
your business in the street. Sympathy? Support? I will hand you a
dictionary and tell you to find them between "sh*t" and "syphilis".

To the OP - E-smokeytreats.com and innovapor.com have always gotten to me within 1-2business days with their regular shipping but do have overnight/expedited shipping options.

To all the people jumping down the OP's throat... didn't your mama ever teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say not to say anything at all? You weren't there, it wasn't you, you don't know the whole story.

I'm just a lil ol white girl and I'VE been harrassed by cops before. I have a perfect record, not even a parking ticket. But that hasn't stopped them from stopping me for suspicion of causing problems because I was walking down the street at midnight going to a friends house before. Tell me how a white girl with long blond hair wearing jeans and a nice t-shirt looks like a trouble maker? Or we can talk about all the times I was late to school becasue the same 3 cops in the town I went to school in would stop me on suspicion of causing trouble or truency when they stopped me 30min before I was supposed to BE at school about a mile from the school just because I went to school on a skateboard. Does owning a skateboard make me a trouble maker? Small town cops like to harass the locals because they have nothing better to do, end of story. Now in the same breath I know not all cops are bad. There was one cop in that town that used to stop me just to bum a cig and have a chat when I was 14.. he was a cool guy.. (Only knew I smoked because my mom told him he could bum off me)

Go ahead press for your day in court about your music and your tint - it will not go well for you - You are in violation - The burden of proof is not on the cops it is on you -
WHAT??? So we're guilty until proven innocent now? When did THAT right get changed??

Its like those girls who dress all slutty like, they deserve what they get.. right? I mean, its wrong an all for a guy to take advantage of a girl, but hey, if she "seems" iffy, well she deserved it..

I know you already said you weren't 100% serious on that but... WOW.. that's cold... beyond that.. who is to say what is slutty?? Now I totally agree if we're talking about girls that wear micro mini's with no underwear underneath and pasties as their only top.. I'm right on board there.. but some people would consider what I'm wearing right now to be "slutty" because it shows more than 1/2 inch of cleavage.. Or one of my favorite t-shirts that covers everything but is form fitting... "slutty" is a matter of perspective/opinion and saying such things is beyond cold.. almost makes you sound like someone that would "give them what they deserve" .. not trying to jump on you or anything but.. WOW.. I couldn't leave my opinion on that comment unsaid.

Terrible sorry that i was mistaken in thinking that a this forum was a place for people with similar interests to share experiences, or ask questions about that common interest.

maybe they should change the name of this to

www don'tpostaboutanythingimightdisagreewithoriwillcallyouapunkpompouslyingass-forum. com
that seems a little more fitting
I posted datails because I was asked, never asked for sympathy never asked for anyone to agree with my side i was just sharing an experience that i had with my PV

VN - Please don't let this thread disillusion you in regards to the entire forum. If you notice most of the less than friendly replies are from relativity new members. It's people like these that have lost us some truly great old timers due to their lack of respect and common curtsy to their fellow vapers. My advise - do your best to ignore these types and don't take anything they say personally. This forum is still a wonderful place even with the few bad eggs making it stink for the rest of us.

I personally give you massive kudos for not knocking the cop on his ..... I know I would have. (and yes I know it would have landed me in jail.. but it would have been worth it :p)

LOL! Perfect explanation.

No adult should have permitted a child to smoke, especially someone in law enforcement. Please tell me you are old enough that there were no age limitations on tobacco at the time.

No female deserves to be sexually assaulted. I don't care if she is walking down the street naked. Call the cops, scoop her up, and throw her in jail. Stop being a bunch of primitive apes.

No I'm not that Old.. I'm not even 21 yet. This was only a few years ago. And he didn't "permit" anything. He couldn't stop me. There are some of us that do whatever we want regardless of what authority figures try to do about it, or in my case, the more people tried to stop me, the more I did what they didn't want me to do. In my short life (and yes I acknowledge my youth) I have never had anyone successfully control anything about me. People around me learned a very long time ago that if they didn't want me to do something, their best bet was to attempt to discuss it with me rationally but if I didn't care about their opinion they would get nowhere. My parents quit trying to make me stop smoking when they realized they weren't going to succeed and instead learned to use it against me. If I wanted cigarettes or money for cigarettes I earned them. That way we all got what we wanted, they got the house cleaned, dinner cooked, cars washed, siblings babysat, good grades, less suspensions from school, and less attitude.. I got my cigarettes, we were all happy with our arrangement.

As for the cop with the laws even that short time ago, the worst he could do would be to take away my cigs, alienate lots of his friends, take me down to juvy for the all of 3 days they would have held me, given me a criminal record just for me to be out smoking again as soon as they released me. It would have been a waste of his time to do anything about it.. better to have someone around town that smoked his favorite cigs that he could bum off of whenever he felt like it and have a kid that had previously hated all cops grow up to have an open mind and the knowledge that not all cops are jerks. It also resulted in me having someone on that side of the law that I could talk to when the sh*t hit the fan a few years later. Without that cop I wouldn't have trusted that I had anyone to go to and would likely have done something very bad and VERY illegal as a result. He was a good man and should not be critisized by someone that isn't willing to understand the full facts of something prior to commenting.

You sound like a very close minded individual, possibly you would have benefited from some of those types of lessons yourself?

Actually, I was the same way you were. I started smoking when I was 12. Got into a lot of trouble over it and I really wish I'd gotten into much more trouble. No one could stop me, look where that got me.

Did you know, smokers who start before the age of 18 are 3 times more likely to die from cancer?

I started at 13.. never got into any trouble for it though. I always managed to hide it from anyone that I didn't consider "safe".. the only reason that particular cop knew about it was because he was one of my mom's drinking buddies and he was drunk one night and out of cigarettes and she smoked ones he hated but she told him to go ask me (lol took him 20min to convince me to even admit I smoked and only then because he promised he was off duty and he would never ever bust me for it if I admitted to it..(in front of witnesses.) so I felt I was fairly safe admitting that I had them.

As for cancer.. I didn't care then, not really worried now. Because of other problems I'm not likely to live long enough for it to be a problem anyway. Good lookin out though.. I'm sure there are other young-ins around here that would be interested in that tidbit.

...Well that's quite unfortunate, to say the least... Ot not depending how you look at it.

I always figured (in my youthful arrogance) smoking would take the crappy, sponge-bath years away where I have to look at the cute nurse as she changes my bedpans every few hours. lol.

Never really worried though. Still don't. There's more to life than worrying about how or when it'll end. I live in NJ, where there is so much air pollution you're more likely to get lung cancer doing nothing but breathing than some people in other states do from smoking lol. Kinda makes smoking less of a big deal in some ways. I didn't even quit due to health concerns, I can't afford the damn things! LOL

I feel it necessary to restate what someone else said earlier in this thread, because I love it and it is very true.

The nail that sticks out gets hammered.

(Now I like this because not only is it true, it is true on mutiple levels, as well, if you catch my drift!)

You've got a concealed carry license, in CALIFORNIA - gonna have to call BS on the "don't play the 'i know people' card" bit right there.

Don't see where the OP says he lives in CA. From what i can tell it says GA. Personally i think that cop needs to be talked to by a judge about wasting the courts time by continuing to issue the, I'm guessing same, citations but never showing up to court when it is disputed.

Ok, I am assuming that even though you are located in Kosovo you are from the states based on your knowledge of california gun control laws. All I have to say is GO BACK TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. GA is Georgia, there is no G in California. Look a little closer next time you try to slam someone so you don't make an ... of your self. And in Georgia all you need is a clean record and $45 to obtain a Firearms License.

I hope this is you being "snarky" (to quote a previous poster), and that you don't actually beleive that crap you are spewing. First, My tint is legal based on the time the car was purchased coinciding with the repeal of the tint laws in the state of GA (thats Georgia). My exhaust is well withing the legal limit of local noise ordinances. and as for the music my Amplifier has been disconnected so there is no way my music could possibly be heard from 100 feet away from my car when i have my windows rolled up. And I sincerely hope that if you do think that we all should be little robots that eat, sleep, dress, act the same, that you are someday judged and treated unfairly by a person in a position of authority.

Did nobody else notice that the story changed on the e-cig. First he lost his only one to a bully cop who mistreats him on a regular basis, then he admits that he has an extra. What was the purpose of this thread? Poor, poor, pitiful me - the cops are mistreating my pompus .... Get a life.

Maryjo, I am still waiting for that quote to be posted showing where I said it was my only E-Cig, Or did you realize you are an imbecile, who can't be bothered to check facts before you post asinine comments trying to make someone look foolish, but only accomplishing making yourself look like a dips**t. Come on please prove me wrong, show me where I posted that. I will gladly apologize for posting an incorrect fact.

"My issue is I am leaving on vacation and I need a new one ASAP", implies that he destroyed your only one.
Skeptical dog is....skeptical. Issues at the gas station, with cops....

That would be incorrect interpretation of the text. If it were in fact my only device the post would have read, "My issue is I am leaving on vacation and I need a new one ASAP, because i am a delusional person and i only have this one PV because I actually thought this thing would last for ever, and I would never have a need for a backup.

So, to those of you who have over-analyzed my post READ IT FOR ITS FACE VALUE it states that my device was destroyed and it does not state that it was my only device. If i told you I broke my finger would you assume that I only had one finger to break?

Since you keep showing only the one finger, that would be a reasonable assumption....
