First, I will say it again. Bruce and COV are great. Fair prices, current with the latest gadgets, outstanding service...I had ordered some accessories a few weeks back from Bruce. Something did not appear right to me on one of the products. I emailed Bruce and he promptly offered me replacement or credit. I took credit because I had already placed a different order with him and he processed it on the spot for me. (I did finally get to the post office Bruce and got them back to you) It is this type of quality service that keeps folks like me loyal to only a few select vendors. Sure almost all the vendors here are pretty good but I stick with just a few vendors and prefer to remain loyal when I see that they not only go the extra mile and treat all their customers well, not because it is just good for business but because they truly believe that is how one is suppose to treat people. It is also uplifting to see a businessman display such real compassion and excitement in their profession.
I recently purchased a couple map tanks and some clearomizers....3.2 ohms I remember how happy I was a year ago when I discovered how much better cartos were over the old atty/cartridge method. I am now getting to re-live the excitement on this CE2 stuff.
The clearomizers, at 6 volts, not so great BUT at 3.7V I really like them. I have a little chuck I rarely used and these are perfect. I am going to use them for occassional vapes.
Map tank....OMG! I love this thing. Six volts is just a bit much for it but I do have a five volt mod on order just for it. In the meantime, I learned not to use batts right out of the charger, used a set with half a day on them and instead of just switching with fresh charged batts the next morning like I usually do, I switched out one and will rotate out like that because they usually tend to charge a bit higher but do drop off with some use. The key is to develop some new habits, if it has been sitting then tip upside down. No more hitting the button nonstop either so I try to take a hit put it down then go for another. It is a great little invention and I sure am liking it!
I do have one idea for Most Angry Pirate. If the Delrin plugs actually had a bit of a lip on them that extended slightly past the tube. Haven't had to take it apart yet but wonder if it would make it easier to remove them. The other reason...I knock over my mod all the time. With the map I have to be super careful not to drop or knock it over BUT was thinking if it the endcaps actually had a few MM's extension from the tube itself, it might help reduce the chances of busting up the tank in the event it gets knocked over or falls.
I can't get over the difference in taste my liquid has with this compared to regular cartos. It definitly makes slightly adjusting my vaping habits worth it!
I have about five days in playing with the clearomizers and day two on the map. Nothing helps the winter stuck in the house blues like some great new vaping accessories!!
