So I just received my KGO from breezesmokes in the mail, and the wall charger is for the wrong country?

Ordered this from breezesmokes which is based out of illinois so this seems odd, a bit bummed because I'm heading out of town for 4 days and will not be around a computer to charge the batteries. Is this a mistake or do they all ship with chargers that are incompatible with US? And does anyone know if you can purchase adapters from hardware stores?

If the charger is 2 piece, one being outlet to usb, the second being usb to kgo connector, any ac to usb should work. Most new cell phones, for instance, have a normal ac to usb charger that will work fine.

(the ac to usb part is just a power supply, the second part is the charger)

b. Yes - if it has a separate USB-ended cable you can use the USB part in a computer's motherboard USB slot (not in an unpowered hub). For the AC piece - Radio Shack or Kmart or Walmart probably have some international wall plug adapters - but FIRST look at the AC charger part and make sure it accepts 110v 60Hmz (some international things only accept 100v 120v or 220v or 50Hz). If it accepts 110v 60Hz as input then a plug adapter will work for now until you can get a replacement from them. If that is not acceptable or possible and you need an AC piece right now, those same shops should sell a standard AC to USB that outputs 5v 500mA (aka .5A).

I use these - I can charge 4 assorted batteries on these (or you could use one PT instead of charging batteries). 4-port 2000mA. They also sell the 6181 which comes with a bunch of international plugs for traveling.
