Yeah, I have mixed emotions to see something like this. If she has to charge those types of prices to stay in business, advertise, and have a visible location then I guess so be it. So long as she is offering sound knowledge and advice to her customers, it is always good to have a bricks and mortar store around. It is certainly preferable than those schleps at your typical mall kiosk.
I certainly wouldn't mind having someplace nearby where I could get "emergency" supplies, even if they charge twice as much as online prices.
I wouldn't mind paying those prices at a store in town. At least quality products are sold there. However, if I were to have a business, I would not charge the same online. I also understand that my customers may just go online to get it cheaper, but we are also looking at a large market of smokers who don't do online shopping because they have not moved into this world. They would have to pay for the larger overhead and convenience.
Another way that I would help cover the overhead is to make it a lounge and sell drinks and snacks. The profit from these items would take care of a large portion of the rent. Soda is around a 1000% mark-up, so it is pure profit.
