So I took my Woodvil into a vape store ......

Holy crap you would think I was ELVIS ........

People were waiting in line to touch it and see it ..... I think I could have charged a fee just to hold it.

The shop just opened a couple weeks ago in my area .... I was amazed that they had some pretty good gear at reasonable prices. The kid working the counter was nice and knew a fair amount about vaping and rebuilding .... But had never heard of a REO or seen a bottom feeder of any kind.

Had a couple people on REOsmods on their phone right in the shop .... Saddened that they missed the wood but might get a few metal sales out of the show and tell.

Gonna go back and sample a few high end juices when I have some time.

The kid at the shop said can't wait to see what you bring in next time .... I said not sure but it will be another REO

I have no patience for any of my local vape shops. They have nothing I need and are all about chasing clouds.

That's fine for them and I wouldn't try to convince them otherwise, but they look awful silly taking all those sharp, noisy, deep, lung hits just so they can't exhale a big plume of vapor. It's about as entertaining as watching a hotdog eating contest.

To each their own.

LOL! Love it! I get mobbed when I go into my local shop (usually to buy AW batteries). Both for my REO's and for my Molehill Mountain Art Drip Tips sitting on top of them. They think I'm the coolest gal in town. They've asked me to stop by after I get my Woodvils. Just waiting for one to come back from a return trip to Maine for fine tuning.

Just this part Saturday, was at the convenience store, waiting for the BF to come back out and a guy pulls up next to us. He sees me vaping on my Purpleheart/birdseye, and he runs inside and when he comes back out, he's nonchalantly vaping on his MVP2, while trying to look casual and taking peeks back at me. I had to LOL. Bless his heart!

We have a vape shop on every other corner these days here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And I heard someone say there were like.....80 of them in the Oklahoma City area. There are probably that many here. There is one within a half mile of my house -- I've walked to it a time or two. And Vapor kings has four huge vape stores/lounges within 6 miles of me. (They have 6 stores, but two of them are out of town to me.) We have a standing vape meet at a local club once a month. I go to the Vapor Kings store pretty regularly and meet up with friends. We spend at least a couple/three hours together vaping, testing new juices, showing off our latest etc. pretty cool vaping culture in these parts.

Yesterday evening I called Publix and ordered a couple of pounds of mojo pork. They said it'd be ready in an hour.

So I got there about 15 mins early and was sitting in my car vaping and browsing ECF.

I hear a faint "hey". If course I don't even look when someone try's to get my attention using "hey". Then I hear, slightly louder, "excuse me sir" and it's a girl about 23 standing outside my window. She says "what is that thing - is that an ecig?"

My standard reply is "it's a [edited]". She looks confused and says "no really". I repeat that it's a [edited] (with a serious face) and take a hit.

She was still there so I then I smiled and told her that "yes, it's a high end Ecig." She is in awe at it. I slide down the door and show her the inside and she is like "damn that's what I need - did you used to smoke?" As she drops her cig on the ground. I tell her I used at smoke for like 30 years.

I say " you wanna hit it" she's like "YEAH" so I depress the button had hold it out. She takes a hit and goes "damn that's EXACTLY what I need - if you don't mind me asking, how much is it?"

Well I have my brand new woodvil with a chalice on it, so I told her it's like 400 for this setup. She says "holy sheyut". I tell her that this is a pretty high end setup and you can get an awesome REO for about 115.

She's like hell yeah. So I tell her about ECF and write down ECF, REOsmods forum and my username and tell her to look me up.

She was stoked as anyone I've ever seen - real excited about the possibilities. She asks if I get any commission cause she wanted to buy thru me. I said naw, I don't sell and my commission is the joy I feel helping people quit smoking.

We said later and that was that.
