So, I'm sure I should wait for tastebuds, but 50/50 juice doesn't really taste like anything...

Yeah, but I'm liking the vapor production of the VG level I'm at... so If I up the PG, I'll lose vapor. So you can see the catch 22 I'm in...

Maybe I just need to be patient. Only been smoke free for 4 days, but I'm ungodly excited about how well this has been working.

I guess I'm just in a hurry to reach that "sweet spot" I've heard about.

Don't rush the sweet spot or you might miss it. You're only 4 days in and your body, taste buds and sense of smell need time to recover. Rushing it could just ruin the experience for you. Just so you know, I vape 60PG/40VG mixes and get an abundance of vapor. I've also vaped 70PG/30VG with plenty of vapor. The only reason I don't vape that much PG now is because I don't like lots of TH and I'm a little sensitive to high amounts of it.

More Pg should, in theory, give you more flavor while the VG gives more vapor. A lot of juices out there have great flavor, but they are on the lighter side of flavor so uping the PG of your mix may or may not change the flavor a whole lot for you. Try the 80pg/20vg mix and see what you think. Also remember you've not vaped for long and your taste buds are going to under go a lot of changes in the coming months. Where possible you might want to have extra flavor added to you juice orders for a while to see what happens with your taste buds. Ask around for what other people consider the stronger flavored juice flavors to try.

All of our taste are so different and different things work for different people. There's no one size fits all. Good Luck!

I got a few 50/50 juices from FSUSA, and the little bit that I do taste is awesome! But I just wonder if I should shift more towards PG, while I enjoy the vapor I'm getting with the 50% VG...

I know I should invest in some LR attys, but I'm just trying to figure out the cheapest way to get where I wanna go.

30% VG produces plenty of vapor. VG has a different taste, almost sweet, PG doesn't have much taste. All vapors should buy PG and VG and experiment with vaping each straight. I dilute all of my bought 24 mg juices with about 30% 70:30 PG/VG to bring down the nicotine level and make my juices last longer. I also like that ratio for flavor and vapor.

I am also new to vaping but I'm still waiting on my nic juice to arrive.
However I have been experimenting with concentrated flavors & VG. While the concentrates contain some PG its not a high %, so the mix is 90% VG & 10% concentrate with a little water for consistency.
I find it produces a ton of vapor & enough flavor to taste it, although the flavor tends to be a little weak. When my nic juice gets here I'll probably be mixing @ 20% flavor concentrate 40% VG & 40% nic juice in PG base. This will make 15mg strength juice, which I will adjust from there possibly increasing the nic content but should be the right strength for flavor.

Some ejuices will have little "flavor" because the tongue can only sense sweet, salty, bitter, sour and savory (which is msg flavor or something). You have to let yourself smell the vapor - don't just suck it all into your lungs. Let some waft out for your nose. Aroma is a big part a flavor.

Now if you don't have juices with much aroma (and some flavors just don't have as much as others) then try some other flavors.

And VG cuts and sweetens flavors but adds smoothness and vapor. PG lets flavors and TH through better but if you have so much PG that it's harsh to you then it can make your tongue sore and that can also dampen flavor. (100% pg does that to me)

What flavor did you get?

Two I think have good aromas (and flavor too in the case of the sweet one) are their Desert Ship (a pungent Turkish Blend that smells a bit like analogs to me) and their oRYental 4 (swet caramel vanilla tobacco - lotsa caramel I taste and smell)
