I am brand new to vaping. I started with the intention to quit smoking cigarettes (a pack a day smoker) I ordered the Vaporall V-Perfecto online as well as some e-liquid. I've been vaping for about a week now and I'm beginning to become disappointed. The first day I had it, it was absolutely wonderful. Nice easy drags, lots of flavor, lots of vape. So let me start with my first issue. It tastes HORRIBLE. I've read to make sure that the battery has no e-liquid on it, which had to do multiple times. Wipe the battery with a q-tip and blow thru the mouthpiece to clean it out. Nothing works. It still tastes like ..... It gets frustrating to keep wiping it over and over again and getting no good results, although I'm still holding out hope and have not smoked a real cigarette. Another issue I'm having is that it is soooo hard to take a drag. Like sucking a meatball thru a straw. Seriously? The first few days it was perfect. I've dry hitting it first, blowing thru it to get excess liquid out the bottom. Still sucks. Also, which I think is pretty normal from snooping a few pics, is that my liquid is turning super dark. I've emptied it once and refilled it. I've also heard that it takes a while for the flavor to break thru? (true or not?) I love my vaporizer dont get me wrong, but I wish I had researched a littler more into mods and stuff before purchasing this one. Anyone please help me give me some tips and pointers on having a good vape experience until I can get my hands a a real nice set up. PLEASEE! Thanks everyone so much!!
My V-perfecto is a clearomizer 1.6ml with a ac 110-220v 50-60hz battery (i dont know what that means)

I also recently started vaping (about three weeks in) and I got a similar kit to yours (ego-C with a CE5 clearomizer) except mine didn't have a screen as yours. I can tell you I didn't have much luck with that certain clearomizer. The tank constant flooded, I would get a burning taste after a few days of use and eventually the black drip tip snapped off. I quickly switched to a Kanger Evod tank and it's been working perfect for me on an ego-c and doesn't leak into the battery. Maybe try a different clearomizer (tank). It took me a bit to figure out exactly what worked for me but don't be discouraged! I also thought I would have liked tobacco flavors since I wanted something to taste like a real cigarette but I quickly found out that it tasted horrible and I am much more inclined to the more fruity flavors etc.

Goodluck and I hope everything works out for you!

I don't either...LOL I recommend eGo models (about $40 for a kit on Madvapes) and you may be able to try different tanks to help with the draw. I find the clearos that come with the eGo are harder to draw through than my "Innovision"(???) little tanks. Is there a good vaping store near you? See if they have tanks to buy and shift it around. As for flavor...do you have control over the different settings of the voltage? Some flavors need higher settings and some need lower. Also, how long have you been vaping on that tank? It may need its coil replaced. When mine goes after about a few weeks constant vaping it tastes like whatever the flavor is combined with hot feet. Then as it gets worse it become charred feet. Not nice at all. Try changing the coils if you can then at the very least buy a few more tanks if you can't

I am a serious newby myself but the folks on here are so knowledgable and will help you far more than my bumbling answer. Just stick with it, you are doing awesome! And not to worry, it gets better and easier to understand all of this! (Says the girl who sent a panic message to a friend who is a long time vaper about her tanks last night...:p )

ETA: See? Look at all this great info that showed up while I was typing! :D

Hello and welcome to ECF :) sorry you're having issues. I know that buying something new, and having it not work right is a massive bummer. You may need to try cleaning the clearomizer. If it just sucks in general (shoddy product) maybe pick up some cartomizers. Most of the time I use tanks, but I always keep cartomizers on hand. If stuff is leaking or giving me some serious issues I just use a carto. If you can afford it maybe order some clearomizers online. Kanger EVOD and protank are pretty popular on here.

Thank you everyone for your quick responses.
okay first, i bought a fruity flavor to start so i know its not the juice.
second, i am so scared to pull this thing apart and try to clean it myself! i watched the video on youtube and i would just feel better if i could take it to someone to fix it (as a quick fix im in between jobs and low on funds) I've heard good things about this Kanger tank. I live in the south suburbs of chicago (orland park area) we have a million smoke shops but i dont even know where to start. This sucks so bad because I loved it so much at first (first timer mezmorized just by the vapor) :( i just really dont want to go back to my smoking habits!! keep linking videos however because im a watch and learn type of gal. Ill figure out how to pull this thing apart! Puf zepplin yes that is the one i bought! ughhh so irritated guys!! This was a gift to me from my bf so i would quit smoking in front of our daughter. I dont want to complain to him about it so i need to fix it! You guys are seriously awesome for answering me !

Well instead of complaining you could simply inform him, that these things are not permanent parts, and some upkeep cost is involved. It is however ridiculously cheaper then the nasties.

As far as taking it to somebody to get rebuilt. it's really not that hard. The most trouble I had was learning how to re-attach the coil inside the tube, mostly because its hard to see in the videos with peoples fingers in the way.

All you really need to rebuild your clearomizer is a Leatherman type(regular size not the minis) multi-tool, or just a pair of pliers and a pair of tweezers. and some tape of some sort to wrap the teeth up in so it doesn't leave marks on your device.

you just need to get another tank (you'll end up over time having many tanks)

I suggest an EVOD $5-$6 bucks then it has "coils" to replace inside when they get bad (5pack $6-$9) very simple

find a local shop, preferably one with a web site and get a replacement (it is just routine maintenance)

you'll be back to a happy vaper in no time... :)

The Hickory Hills Cignot shop is fairly close to you.
Cignot ® Retail Locations

Hi

Oh - GO SEE CIGNOT!!! If you have access to that store you have found your new best newbie friend. If Vicki is in the store tell her I said hi.

I still don't know what kind of clearo that place sold you. (The picture on their site isn't all that great.) If it's the kind I suspect it is - top coil with long wicks hanging down - there isn't a lot you can do to clean it or fix it once things go bad. Cignot sells bottom coil stuff and the coil is both easily cleanable and replaceable in those. It's extremely important with those top coil clearos to keep tipping them around to keep that top mounted coil wet. If it gets a chance to go dry and you keep hitting it bad things happen - like everything tasting harsh and burnt. Once that happens there isn't much you can do to reverse it on the type you have. A Kanger bottom coil style, already mentioned, will just work as long as there is liquid in it. They are a much better option for a newbie to start out with. A new Kanger T3s clearo will set you back about five bucks at Cignot.

if its the same clearomizer thats on the kits that was linked to on the first page, they look like ce8 iclear16 which I hate. they are bottom coil with mesh. I find them hard to vape myself and left some of my juices burned and found it hard to clean the coil as its in the centre post, they cliam to be wickless and use just mesh but after looking into them it seems they arnt and do have wicks inside.

try of the tanks already named or even a ce5 iclear16, evod, pro tank etc. its really what you like most from the vape to which one you will like. top coil for warmer vapour, bottom coil for cooler vapour and duel coil for more vapour/heat. only way to know really is to test them but try to clean that one you have to take the bad teaste away. :):):):)
