Okay , um i ordered a drip tip off a site and i just now went to clean it after having used it and I found a metal shaving in side that came out on a cotton swab... should I go to the hospital now incase i inhaled any metal ?

If its big enough to be visible it would also set off your coughing reflex.
With the current prices of scrap metal it would mean I'd become more valuable
And even fresh out of the wrapper - I take it apart and check for just that : any leftovers from the manufacturing process.
Not so much because I might inhale something. But a small metal shaving can ruin the threading...

Wash everything before using. The manufacturing process involves machining, cutting oils, and who knows what else.
As far as inhaling any metal goes, I wouldn't worry too much about it, unless you feel something irritating in your throat.

Yea, I always soak my new stuff in soapy water. Always found oil floating on the water afterwards...
