I've been following your thread, CD, and have to say, you are one terrific dad!
Hey Ania, I'll just do anything to get fed!

You know, I was very happy when both my Daughter and her (then) Fiance quit smoking. That was 3 years ago, and I've been amazed that both stayed off the smokes for so long, but I was prepared for this. Like so many of us I've been through the quitting thing more than a few times. Thankfully, I have managed to convert my Brother and an Uncle so I have a little experience with how to make the pitch. The SiL was an easy conversion. He had only been smoking again for about a month, and was still under a pack a day. He also was very motivated and receptive to the Idea. And then of course my Daughter was applying some pressure too. I'm sure that had very little to do with anything though!
I was pleased that the SiL did watch a lot of PBusardo's videos, and some others. He is doing some research, but really hasn't done much here at ECF yet. It's only been a week though, so I think he'll get here eventually. I'm always happy to answer questions, but am pleased that he is doing his own research too. I like to think that increases the likelihood of success.
I really feel very lucky that both my kids and their significant others are , well, good kids. I'm not often in a position to help out, so when I am I take it pretty seriously and do everything I can. I keep updating this thread because it's always good to read positive stories, and regardless of how things turn out there may be others who are interested to know how thing go. I've also found that it makes me think a bit more about what my next steps are going to be. Anyway things seem to be going well, and as new developments pop up I'll post more info here.
