I've been vaping for about 3 weeks. Smoking analogs, too. Went from a 2 pack a day smoker, to just 3-4, and on Christmas day, 1/2 a pack (had a houseful of smokers).

On Friday, I was off work, relaxing at home, and ran out of analogs. I decided not to buy any and see how the weekend went. It's been easy.

I'm definitely vaping more, and going through two batteries a day. I've been filling my carts with a low nic liquid, and when I feel a definite craving, I add a drop of Puresmoker's fierce directly to the atomizer. Works great, and I'd say I dropped the fierce 7 or 8 times yesterday, but only 3 or 4 times today. First vape of the morning definitely.

It's not completely painless, but it's pretty easy. I didn't intend to give up analogs when I bought this neat gadget, but now? That seems to be the direction I'm heading.

I've no clue as to whether or not I'll stop and buy a pack on the way to work tomorrow, but rather than feeling panicky, I feel somewhat ambivalent about it. I know that I CAN pick up a pack, but I know I do not have to. Very weird, but there it is.

I'm using a black Janty extended kissbox. I love the manual switch. I have an office at work and nobody minds me vaping in my office. They don't seem to really notice it anyway.

It's the weirdest feeling. I feel like I bought an e-cig and then accidentally quit smoking cigarettes. But because of the satisfaction I'm getting from vaping, I do not feel like I've quit smoking.

Oddly wonderful.

I've had a few problems. The first thing I bought was a cute little supermini that was a piece of doo. That's what led me to researching and to this board. One of the batteries I originally got with the Janty did not work at all, but once I emailed Janty, they sent a replacement right out, before I even sent the defective one back--(I did send it back).

Anyway, even with the unholy amount of fooling around and paraphernalia, I find the experiment so far, to be a surprising success.

I prefer the e-cig over the analogs. Never thought I would say that after 35 years of smoking. I haven't had a analog for 16 days and I don't miss them! Whenever I think of analogs, I think of bronchitis, bad breath, stinky clothes and hair. I feel so much healthier and energetic smoking the e-cig. Today I took the stairs instead of the elevator and didn't even run out of breath. I am turning the big 50 next week and I am smoke-free! I am so happy I found the magic pill I've been looking for.

Right there with you Peachette! Smoked for 36 years and and the e-cig is my preference as well. I prefer the flavor and texture (?) of the vapor to the smoke and I still get to enjoy my "smoking ritual". No more hacking, tight chest, being winded walking to my car. Best of both worlds I think. Hope Big Brothers all over the world stay the hell out of it so we can continue to enjoy it.:thumb:
