I have a ego ctwist set up with a b&w rocket tank? I believe thats what the tanks callled anyways when I go up to around 4 volts I get a small crackle noise.. is that bad?

Nope should be ok. Just the coil vaporizing the fluid at a higher unregulated voltage.
Should be ok makeitcrispy.
My sigelei, and eGo VV, "rattlesnake" all the time.
Know the Provari Illuminati will chime in, that they do not vape rattlesnakes......

im very impressed that your first tank is a rocket tank, just to make sure im seeing that it is a kayfun clone, Ive been at this for almost a year and I dont even want to tinker with those things, crackling is just the buring of the liquid, all well and good, make sure you know your ohms and make sure you dont go too high with the voltage. vape on

Mine tends to do that only when I hit the button without taking a drag, but sometimes while I'm pulling on it.

I honestly think the bottom feed tanks like the rocket are easier to fill then a normal ce5 etc type tank. But thanks everybody for all the good input.

That rattling sound is just the device pulsing the voltage. Many devices do it.
