either I just made the best spaghetti of my life...or my taste buds are atually coming back to life after not smoking any analogs for over 5 days.

I know why people gain weight now when they quit smoking!!! It's not cause they are compensating...it's because everything actually tastes the way it's supposed to!!? It's like trying everything again for the first time. Seriously...too much. :)

I was the same way, everything tastes so much better once you quit the analogs. Although, two things for me taste gross since I quit smoking. Orange soda, always tastes too bitter, and beer, it always tastes flat to me now.

*whew* I'm glad I didn't suffer from the beer issue. I would be devastated. Or then again maybe I would have lost some weight, since beer is my true weakness. :)

But yeah, I've found myself using less salt, and a lot more herbs and spices, since I can actually enjoy them now.

Now if only I could get the last bit of the smell out of my car. Thought most of it was gone, but when I got in after work yesterday I caught a huge whiff of it and ICK.

Luckily, for me, I am not a huge beer drinker, maybe one or two every 7 months or so. I find the spices do have more kick to them as well. You can put some dryer sheets under your seats to absorb some of that smoke smell in your car. Just replace them about twice a week until the smell is gone. They will actually absorb the smell of the smoke.

I'll have to try that one. First thing I did was use a lot of OdorBan ... making sure to spray the headliner as well, since smoke goes up. I also have some activated charcoal around here somewhere, that's supposed to absorb odor pretty well also.
