Oh dear...that is so sad! First time for everything they say, and I won't blame you for crying. It is however, still a beautiful mod.
Now you don't have to worry about it anymore....you can just vape.
I do that with trucks. I use my trucks and they see their fair share of abuse. My jobsites aren't exactly peaceful. Usually, within the first few days with a new truck, I drive it through the woods or something. It gets a little nick here and there....then I can just use it. Babying stuff is just plain stressful.

The darker parts feel different than the lighter parts of the mod (and all of my other Stabwood mods I’ve owned). It’s slick to the touch and has a clearcoat (?) or something - as in, its shiny and can get fingerprints on it.
Might consider selling the thing... sucks tho because I paid $360 or something like that and was planning to have this as my daily driver. Although minor, the crack does annoy me because it’s an expensive mod. Didn’t think the daily thing through too well...
If it doesn't affect the functionality of the mod, then just learn to live with it. Battle-scars add character.

I think it is beautiful as is. If it bothers you that much sell it.
