I'm pretty upset and I'll try to make this as short as possible.

I've been vaping for about three years and strangely I only vape one juice. It's called Jungle Juice and it's a house juice from my local shop. A few months ago the owner who was really awesome to me and always had my juice ready sold the shop to a guy I had become friends with who worked there a couple days a week. We aren't like best friends, but we hang out at the shop a lot and we have that rapport where we talk like good friends. He can be sarcastic and mess with me over my juice sometimes which bothers me a bit never had any issues with getting it.

So I was in the shop a couple days ago. I had asked him for a bottle of juice the day before over facebook messenger and he said maybe. Which was not a big think because like I said, he always messes with me. So then I go in the next day to get my juice and he says I didn't make your juice. So I'm like ok, well can you make it for me? He said sorry I don't have enough flavoring. (We'll get back to this) So at this point I'm kinda upset. And he says you're gonna have to find another flavor you like because I'm getting rid of house juices. I'm like WTF are you kidding me? I've been vaping this juice for three years. I asked him if he could still make it for me and he said he doesn't know because it might not be worth it to buy the flavoring.

So he's like lets try some different juices. So he let me sample a few and I picked Air Factory wild apple. It was the best of the ones I tasted but I knew I wasn't gonna like it. Jungle Juice has menthol and this juice doesn't. So it's not exactly easy to switch from menthol to no menthol.

So to end this story, the old owner still works there part time and I message her on facebook when I need juice so I sent her a message because I know she works tomorrow and wanted to ask her if she could make me a bottle with what's left of the flavoring and she said what do you mean what's left? I said well Zack said there wasn't enough left to make me a bottle and she said that's absolute bull..... There is plenty of flavoring. So she's ...... off. She said she would make me a bottle first thing in the morning.

So basically what I get from this is that the new owner, Zack wants to just stop making juice and make me get a brand name of something else for the sales numbers I guess.

Sorry this was so long. Just needed to vent. I understand business is business. But if I can't get my juice there I won't be going there anymore. And I've been a loyal customer for three years.

If you can follow a cooking recipe you can follow a juice recipe. I suggest if that flavor is what you want to stick with you try to get that recipe! If not we can all help guide you if you choose to go the DIY route. Best of luck.

Thank you. That's very kind. I will see what happens tomorrow and when I can I will just flat out ask him if he can make it for me anymore or not. Then I will get the recipe. I'm sure she will give it to me. She's a really awesome person.

I've never made juice before so not sure I could do it. But I guess if it comes down to it, it's worth a shot.
Oh, trust me, you can do it. It's just a matter of measuring and mixing a few ingredients. You may even improve on it, or branch out into your own exotic concoctions (but be aware, that is what is known as a Rabbit Hole) :)

Go in there and say “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore, I demand my jungle juice” :D

It's a bummer losing your favorite juice. I also had a local shop here stop making my absolute favorite juice. IT was called 7 leaf and it was the best tobacco flavor ever. But don't worry too much. Eventually you will find a replacement. And you might even find it a lot better than your old fav.

DIY is really worth it if you want to venture down that road. The flavor I’ve been vaping over two years straight exclusively is a DIY recipe I made by accident. Over time I tweaked it and now it’s perfect for me. Best part was I was a die hard fruit flavor lover and it was a dessert flavor that I created and now I’m all about desserts. And I never run out; I make 500ml at a time and always ensure I have my next order created before I run out.

So I would need the flavoring obviously, and then just the PG/VG and nicotine right? Can you just buy nicotine online?
Essentially yes; of course some measuring and mixing gear as well. I recommend wizard labs. Have everything you need in one stop.

If you are able to get the recipe, keep it to yourself. If it is a house juice she will probably ask you to do that anyway. Depending on how many juices are needed the initial cost may sound like a lot, but trust me the rewards will outway the cost. I no longer use any flavors so my cost is minimal as I only use VG, PG, and Nicotine. Just pennies on the dollar.

Thanks. I've heard of people not using flavors. Seems to be a number of people on reddit that do that. I may actually try it.

Yes you can!
I ran into a similar situation. My online supplier of White Tic Tac suddenly stopped selling it!!!
So now I make my own. And instead of $15 for 30ml, it's under $1.50

To start, I suggest getting small amounts of pg, vg and nic. Maybe 250ml of pg and vg.

And by a scale. A digital pocket scale, good for 500g. It is usually about $15. Mixing by weight is more accurate, repeatable, and easier than by volume.

There is a great website for a juice calculator by weight. I can't put the link, just search e-liquid recipes.

And get a blunt tip 3ml syringe.

When you gain confidence, then you can look into a gallon each of vg and pg, and a liter of 100mg nic. Plus the flavorings, this should last you 5 or 7 years, for under 100 bucks. Or 10 bottles of 30ml juice from the store!!!!

Good luck!

House juice has higher profit margins than juice that a shop buys from someone else...

But if this shop didn't jump through the FDA's hoops to register the exact recipe (including nic level) of your preferred juice a while back, then it's technically illegal for the to make it for you. It's possible the new owner knows this, or found out via a Cease & Desist letter from the FDA, and that's what's making him reluctant.

I'd definitely ask for the recipe.

If your biggest problem with other juices is that they lack menthol, it's easy enough to add a few drops,
