Since I almost lost my father last year to Bronchiolitis obliterans from his years of smoking this subject annoys me. Yes it is possible and I had to install Oxygen lines to help my father breath after Thoracic Surgery. Although calling it Popcorn Lung is incorrect unless you worked in a popcorn factory it is a real disease.
