If the new owner is bigger than you, then walk into his shop with either a baseball bat or tire iron.... oh wait, wrong movie …. Brother, mixing your own juices is the only way to go... If you can tie your shoes, you can mix a few liquids together …. It truly is a very simple thing to do.

That’s exactly why I started to diy. They stopped making the one juice I used 24/7. The owner gave me the recipe and talked me through the process and I nailed it first time.

I only got small bottles of the ingredients the first time, and only a couple bottle and pipettes, I think initially I spent $40 or so and being cheap as I am, that seemed really a big investment. Until I made five times as much juice as I could’ve bought with the same money.

I started buying gallons of pg and vg, liters of nic and never looked back.

Make your own and walk away from that shop. No retaliate or any of that, just don't go back.

Perhaps friend the former and stay in touch outside the store, but it sounds like Zac sux. Fooey on that dude.

Excellent advice. Keep your dealings with the former owner. Dude lied to your face.

It sounds to me like the guy is just lazy. The former owner built up a profitable business and he is taking it apart. He is cutting is own throat getting rid of a product line that ties customers to his specific shop.

I don't think his winning personality will save him. :nah:

Sorry if I am ranting but this really pisses me off.

Thanks to the deeming regs virtually all shops will be stopping in house mixing unless they're very large, maybe a chain, and willing to invest in what's needed to be on compliance. The truth is the old owner has nothing to lose by giving you the recipe as it no longer has any value if it can't be sold.

As for DIY, if you can mix a drink you can mix a juice. Besides, with some nic stashed away you can be set for years of your favorite recipes regardless of what the FDA eventually decides on with vaping and flavorings regulations.

    Several comments:

It happens all the time, at least to me. Every time I found a juice that I really liked, it went out of vogue and got dropped withing a few months. It seems to be the nature of the business, with juice flavors changing constantly. Lots of money to be made on the "next big thing".

Next, I can't imagine vaping a single juice all the time. I have at least five or six different flavors in my rotation at all times. Maybe it's time for you to expand your palate a little?

Lastly, this is precisely why I make my own juice. Not particularly creative but I have very thankfully found recipes from others that I love. There's a few that I miss, and haven't found a good recipe for some of my favorites (Boss Reserve anyone?), but for the most part I have been mixing a lot of very good custard and fruit recipes. It's a good way (maybe the best way) to stick it to the B&M that doesn't seem to care about your needs, whether it's a "business decision" or not.

Oh, and you can save a crap-ton of money. :)

I can totally imagine how it sucks when your fav juice isn't available anymore. That's actually how i got into DIY juice mixing.

And eventhough my first mix ever must have been the filthiest thing i ever vaped, and overconfident as i was i had mixed 600ml of it, i kept trying. Once all possible rookie mistakes that i had made were out of the way, it started to pay off.

But if you could get that recipe it would be as easy as throwing some stuff together, shake and wait.

DIY is incredibly simple. If you research it, some make it look terribly hard. Getting started, I way overbought on supplies. I pretty much do single tobacco flavors, but the process is the same - here's a link to my simple method:Closest vaping experience to analogs

    Haha you guys are great!

So a little update: Old owner was working today and she messaged me this morning saying she had 100ml of my juice she made for me a while back and apparently Zack had no idea it was literally just sitting there the day he told me to get another juice.

She also said that if he won't continue to make my juice or house juices in general she will make my juice for me at home and charge me half of what I pay now. Which would be about $12.50. She also said she would show me how to make it if I wanted and would give me the recipe. So that's freakin awesome. I knew I could count on her. She understands how people are so attached to their juice.

Using rebuildable atomizers and DIY above all else gives you independence from the vagaries of fickle suppliers and retail fashions. I have litres of the constituent components of eliquid, and hundreds of feet of wire and wicking stockpiled.

Honestly if you love this juice, well, it might be worthwhile to get the recipe regardless. Although, I am going to SALUTE Zack, even if he IS a total tool. Because whether you go DIY or not, he has just saved you a ton of money.

IF the owner gives you the recipe (and she may not) DIY is cheaper than that even. Etc. Etc
