So vaping is pretty strange, right?

Hello, i guess this is to introduce myself. So. Hello.

I've been vaping for about 8-9 months, and it's been up and down. An analog here, a piece of nico gum there, but really it's been these few kr808 batteries all the way. I've cut down a bit on the actual nicotine (it seems when the nicotine goes down, I want more flavor-so my 0mg is peanut butter from V4L, which is freaking awesome with coffee) but vape throughout the day.

But, to my title- vaping is strange. My buddies call my 808 my 'sci-fi' or 'nintendo' cigarette, which is cool. But it's still a little wierd when I sneak a hit at work, or in a bar, and so forth.

I'm going to buy something with a little bit better battery life (V4L 808s last me maybe 1/2 a day) for my home Pv. Any suggestions? I was looking at maxxfusion, because it seems to be the same basic design, or maybe the Ego-T because the FieldofVapor review dude really liked it.

Also, any place that has a big selection of juice? I've looked at Johnson Creek and Twisted Texas, but V4L seems to offer the widest selection. I realize I've mentioned those guys a few times-but they are the only company I've purchased from so far, and have done ok by me. Just branching out.

If I was in your shoes, having used the vaporking for all that time, I'd be inclined to get the elegant easy or pigcig because it would work with all my v4l stuff too.... but that's just me.

Better battery life could be had with an THE ELEGANT EASY, it's the same 808 threading with more mah per battery.
Your other option could be looking at a mod of some type, lots to choose from, and drool over,

Going to a ego or riva style you are expanding to 510 threading and accessories, and dropping down from 3.7v to 3.2v to your cartos. That said there are far more attys and cartos in different styles and resistance available for 510's. But again a simple 808 to 510 adapter would solve that problem.

Strange is my flashlight mod with a tank mod attached, and 808 hmmm, not so much.

As far as juices go, I've tried a few...gormet vapor has a ton of flavors, and will even let you create your own...
Kickbassvapor has some nice juices as well.

Not really any better answers to your questions as I use all 510 stuff, have used the KR808-1's but they were not for me.

As for juice, Nhaler has a great assortment and all I have tried have been very good and their service is great. Also several others I have tried and never been disappointed: Vaporstation, Good Prophets, Cigeasy, Tasty Vapor, and the list goes on and on.

Where in Texas are you? I am on Lake Palestine near Tyler. I have been vaping 2.5 years and analog free for 2 years on 4-14. If you are close and there is ever anything I can do, please let me know.

Happy vaping and I hope the "strange" comments don't ever discourage you. I got a little of that at first, but have converted so many others that I don't let it get to me any longer.

Thanks guys. I have an expanding list of e-liquid vendors to try, which is awesome. I accidentally purchased a huge bottle of this vanilla stuff that I've been vaping on and off, which is fine for a while, but sort of reminds me of air freshener. Looking forward to trying new juice.

The strange comments are funny more than anything else, and I have gotten a few people to try it out. I've also adopted the name of the ninentendo cigarette and started calling my 808 that. It's the blue cherry that gets me. It's middlin' strange, but strange enough!

I'm in Austin, though, I guess strange is OK

A semi local vendor to you out there is DFWVapor.com he has my juices shipped to me in Ft.Hood within 2 days usually.plus i've never had an issue with any of his juices except for the "hemp"flavored one....just nasty. any how I just bought an 808/901 threaded mod, and for under $3 at IKENVAPE.com you can get an 808 to 510 thread adapter or a whole mess of other thread types. good luck.

Another idea on the trying out of juices would be to take some of that huge bottle of vanilla stuff and join PIF (pay it forward) forum and offer it up as a PIF after you see some juices you would like to try. It's a good way to try new stuff, you just watch for something you would like to be offered, claim it with a message (reading through the posts will get you the idea) then come ujp with your own offer in return for someone else to take. Costs a little postage but a good way to try/get different stuff and share something with others.

Insane? I hope that's a good thing, lol...juices are really tough to recommend...some people's favorites make others want to gag...it's all so subjective....some juices taste great right out of the package, and some need some time to 'steep'...a few days, or even a few weeks....so if you get something that's tasting terrible right off, don't toss it...let it set up for a while and revisit it at a later date....

If you just want to use the stuff you have then, these are absolutely what you should get. OTOH there's a lot going on with regard to new stuff for the eGo (tanks, clearomizers, mega heaven knows what, etc.). If you're wanting to get in on that, you might consider an eGo or Riva with an adapter to use your current stuff.

Black Pigeon, I use an 808 setup and was also getting tired of the batteries running down all the time. I got some 380mAh batteries and they last considerably longer. I like to refer to them as my all-day sucker. They don't last me all day, but I do get a good 10-11 hours off of them.

glad you like it, im still on the fence on this device. i have the ego and riva but looking for little more sublte, one that doesnt look like your putting a submarine in your mouth. wonder if the vapor production is as good on the M/F compared to a LR atty on the riva/ego? even if i dont have the M/F, i think you did a GREAT choice!
