Let's make a list. I've been vaping just fine on dekang for like a year. I wanna step it up. Last time I bought good juice, the number 1's were:

Tastyvapor's Butterfinger

AVE's Boba's Bounty

Backwood's Ry4, which I understand is no longer being produced... loved the stuff personally.

I know taste is subjective, but what are the real must-have's for right now? I wanna get some good juice going. Also, I'm looking for something that'll bring out the flavor better than these generic 510 cartomizers, but that's another thread for another forum.

Later.

I've tried a bunch of juices that received rave reviews from my fellow ECF members. Sadly I didn't fall in love with a majority of them. I did fall in love with fuzion vapors krankberry, unicorn blood & purple pieman!!

Unfortunately I feel the same. The quest for that One juice is very elusive, time-consuming, and can take multiple twists and turns. Relying on the advice of others is an exercise in futility. One must first narrow down the family of flavors you like. Then order as small as possible samples of those that interest you from various vendors who have a good reputation here. Spend a couple days, using an atomizer, testing them. Choose only the ones that make a hit with your taste buds and order maybe 10ml-12ml at the most. When the juices you have ordered begin to grow on you, order larger sizes, steep, and enjoy. But keep in mind your taste buds will likely change then...you begin all over again. :)

Hey veteran friend...
yeah, bobas is still popular....

A few other newer popular vendors that weren't around when you last checked: No personal bias here unless otherwise indicated...

Heather's Heavenly Vapes (incredibly popular)
Ahlusion (big fan personally)
Alice in Vapeland
Fuzion Vapor
Mr. E-liquid...
Nitelite Vapor
Copper Creek
mad Murdoch
moondrop (one of my favs)

I suppose there are others... these just came to my mind first

meanwhile these guys endured...
BWB
Halo
Vaperite
Alien Visions
TV
and others of course

'Popular' is tricky. It can mean 'most sales', and would then include lines that people initially get into via first kits, cheapest stuff etc. Or it can mean lines that have drawn a lot of positive interest and reviews because they're actually doing something new, or much better.

Lasttango located the major new/newish trends well. For actual innovation I'd say Ahlusion for wonderful, sophisticated in-house flavor design and ingredient integrity (my all-time fave), Fuzion for taking the joy of frankly artificial candy-type flavoring to new levels of childhood sweets nostalgia, AIV for interesting flavors and truly beautiful packaging, and vendors doing the NETS thing well for capturing the imagination of tobacco- lovers. (I can't speak to the latter as I'm not one, but almost wish I were these days.)

your words aren't making sense to me. If you read my first post, I mentioned some big names from when I first started vaping. I want to know what are the big names of today. I just made an order on heather's heavenly vapes. hopefully i like some of those.

Oh yes, Fuzion is one of the best in my book. I've got 8 different flavors of theirs, and I really love ALL of them! This 8 is from a sample of only 9, so out of 9 samples I tried there was only one that I didn't care for. This is an almost unbelievable ratio when I look at how many I liked from other vendors. Most places that I've ordered samples from I was lucky if I found one that I really liked out of many samples. They are all candy-like juices, so YMMV of course, but Fuzion is worth a try if you are still looking. I'm vaping Everlast right now, and can't seem to put it down.

What kind did you hate, Jfango? The only one I can't stand is BMB, which I just tested again. I can now taste the chocolate, but the "rasta" flavoring is gross.

LOL, same as you, BMB,....it tasted like burning grass. I will admit that it wasn't really terrible, it just didn't feel like something I could see myself getting to like a lot.

Sorry that wasn't clear to you. I mentioned Ahlusion, Fuzion, AIV (Alice in Vapeland) and agreed with lastango.

This is the exact road I am on. I have about 35 non fuzion juices, I dont consider any ADVs I like about 5 of them.
I have tried 7 from fuzion and I love 6 of them. I cant put down 357 and I could ADV any of the other 5 I love.
I have another 3 on the way. I cant find a reason to try any other vendor at this point unless I see comments going around about some holy juice. Like I do with BB.

Vermillion Rivers, as mentioned above, is quite good for a few juices. Specifically I enjoy their Applewood (cherry and maplewood are likewise decent, but all of these are made with the Kentucky Premium base, so like the base itself, are all very similar), and their pokerblend for a dry and realistic (because it is indeed made from real extracted tobacco) bacco vape.

However, for me, VR has fallen a few notches in the past few months after discovering HHV, which has been mentioned and you have a nice cart-fill there (though I notice Serendipity conspicuously missing!) from them; as well as Ahlusion (also mentioned), GoodeJuice (mentioned) and a few others NOT yet mentioned: QuickNic Juice (Some great ones here, if you like authentic tobaccos, pipe, cigar, etc that are Naturally Extracted, what we have termed NETs, btw. I would recommend Habana Daydream, Grandpa's Nightcap, OurWhyQuattro - a RY4 variant and a darn good one, and Fired in Gerogia for starters), Mountain Oak Vapors (and they have a number of great juices, Sunday Morning and Southern Gentleman to name my favorites, also Pendragon and the newish Apache, as well as their NET RY4, Full Virginia Flake are rather popular); My Vape Juice has some really good juices that I am just now rediscovering (steeping has made them go from meh to quite good. Steeped about 3 months actually to get to this stage!), and then Want2 Vape, which has a rather cult-like following, and of which I've only tried a very few.

These and some mentioned above (I.E. Alice in Vapeland, has a huge following these days) should point you in the right direction. Good luck and happy vaping!

I also dislike the price increase of the VR juices. Nonetheless, K#7 and Kmax have made it into the regular rotation. I tried the Poker blend and it was solid. Haven't re-upped though. I like a few of the Mountain Oak juices, especially the Classic CountRY4 and the Black Forest, but I wish they offered a 12mg option. Not sure I would re-up even if they did, in the end. I'm trying a few Highbrow vapor flavors - RY4, vanilla bourbon bean - and they are good. Some people will love them, I think. I'll get to HHV and some of your suggestions at some point.

I also forgot to mention that I like Alien Vision's C&D. That steeped well and grew on me.
