Mine's not too exciting, I'm afraid. I'm a machine operator in a printing plant ... I'm a bookmaker. My primary duties are operation and maintenance of a Heidleberg ST-270 with eight feeders and two cover feeders. It runs to a maximum speed of 11.7K per hour. It's my second career.

I'm looking forward to my third career after escaping from this corner of the country. Perhaps a return to my previous career ... get a spot at a classic rock or classic pop radio station. Or maybe a sedate trinket shop selling beads and trinkets to tourists near the Oregon coast. :D

But, will they allow vaping?[/QUOTE]

We have nothing to do with what the airlines allow. However, it's been my experience, that if you are cool and not too obvious about it, you can usually get away with it.
I'm in the Flight Test end of things, so we concentrae on whether or not the plane will do everything that the engineers say it will do. We prove that to the FAA or the CAA or whoever the adjudicating authority is.
We DO NOT have anything to do with the amount of leg room that you have, or the meals you get or if you can vape or anything like that. Take up those issues with your airline!!! LOL

I'm disabled but I do do voluntary work!

Work in a charity shop for a certain heart charity, its monotonous at times especially on quiet days but rewarding and some real gems turn up at the shop from time to time! Being only a very small shop we do well, £2,500 last week raised! I also sometimes help out my friend who repairs computers, that is great fun!

I'm an optical assistant here in Virginia, selling frames and lenses and what not to those with recent prescriptions from an optometrist or ophthalmologist.

Maybe you can tell me WHY my last pair of glasses cost $1200 (before
insurance discounts)? Silhouette Titan frame, Verilux lenses. Enlighten
me.

I have a good idea... I was a wholesale optical lab tech up until the end of January when they closed our lab down ... the mark ups on prescription lens and frames is what keeps them in business... thank goodness I have plenty of spare frames for me and the family! your $300 frames probably only cost them $90, plus proressive lens are one of the priciest lens out there, depending on the coating and such, you're looking at another $300 wholesale as well. It's not uncommon for the mark ups to be over 100% or more.

With that being said... I took my part-time mad money job as a server and turned it into full time once the lab closed. Waiting to take my certified optician's exam in May to get back on track!
