I started vaping 7 weeks ago and love it on a whim I got an aqua clone while at the local b&m yesterday. When I got home I build my fist one took me about an hour including watching some videos. I loved it had a good time and the vape was pretty good. Not as good as my iclear 30s but I figure with practice I will get their and maybe even better.

Well now I'm hooked on rebuildables. What are some recommendations for good tank rba's like I said I like the aqua clone but would like it to hold more juice, something that is top quality and is somewhat simple and forgiving, I'm still new. I love the idea of not being tied to prebuilt atomizers. So let the suggestions begin, and thanks in advance for all the help.

Just made a thread about how much I'm diggin my EHPRO Kayfun Lite +. People seem to dig the Fogger V4 as well.

Also, I'd recommend getting a good, cheap RDA - easy to build coils and lots of em; much easier than a tank in terms of the hardware you (don't) have to disassemble etc. There are a lot of options; maybe read through the threads in this sub.

So far I've found it's not that simple. The longer I vape, the more new products and building techniques come out. Most of all, my preferences evolve. Basically I'm always trying new things and that changes what I prefer. I'd recommend a kayfun type for what you just asked for. Bigger tank and easier build than an aqua. Harder to fill without a needle of some sort though. Higher ohms are easy with it's single coil compared to the dual coil of the aqua although you could build a single coil aqua even though it's not designed for it. Still, try a kayfun device. Oh, and I prefer the kayfun on a mech over vv/vw device, but I don't have a high end one like DNA 20/30 so I might change my tune if I did

There are as many opinions as vapers, but here's mine.

For high-end rebuildable atomisers, there are three to consider: Kayfun/Russian, Aqua and Taifun GT.
There are several more you could think about, the Spheroid for example, but those three are top-end examples of your options. Anything else will be the same or worse.

I count genesis-style as a separate thing, and not for beginners to rebuilding.

If you are getting into rebuildables, then get yourself at least a single-coil dripper. That will give you an easy way to experiment with coils without having to empty tanks and tear them down. Don't bother getting into dual coil drippers, and probably RBAs too, if you don't want to go into low ohms and mechs and you don't have a device capable of supplying 5V or more to it. You can power a dual coil with a normal VV/VW mod at 10-15W, but most of them don't actually go up to 15W unless they've got stacked batteries in them. 10W is easily achievable with a single coil. A dual-coil dripper with a single coil in it is an irritant best avoided.

You said it your self, you need variety. Just try not to take a step back like the Nautilus. If you like the Kayfun, stick with rebuildables. So, maybe try and aqua or fogger v4. It is a tank like the kayfun, but dual coil and would be different. Maybe you would love it more, maybe not. Some do, and some don't, but only you will be able to figure that out for yourself. Also, perhaps you would like to try a dripper. There are some better for blowing clouds, and some better for flavor. Either way, drippers are great for trying different juices due to the ease of building and rewicking. Definitely worth having one just for that reason. Vape stores around me want you to bring a dripper so you can try their different juices to be a better example of the juice vs the little evod tanks they have for you to try them in. It will take some trial and error to know that variety, and I don't think anyone else can tell you what you'll prefer. Others can only give you a guide about where to start looking depending on what you feel like trying

Get yourself a nice R91 -- and if it's a "v2" make sure it comes with the v1 center-pin. My three KFL-clones, three Foggers, and a handful of gennies have all since begun to dustgather or else disappear entirely. And even now, with a slew of post-R91 purchases including an Aqua-clone, Fogger v4 and a Squape-clone, I still return to my trusty R91 for its reliability and unflagging satisfaction.

Of course the Squape is great, mostly because it's huge, needs no screwdriver to fill and is near idiot-proof to coil. But I've heard many a clone quality control horror story, which seem particularly relevant to the Squape on account of its whole non-conductive deck and chimney apparati. I got lucky I guess. Mine works flawlessly.

And a real authentic KFL+ v2 is just as good as - if not better than - the R91. And similarly priced. And made by Germans. Or at least made by people living in Germany -- which might be pertinent if you're the kind of person grudge-holding onto some sort of geographic, ethnographic or otherwise manufacturing quality bias aimed at the great red bear of the peep's republic of China. And SM didn't screw up their v2 like Kebo did. But this is all moot if you can't find one for sale right now anyway.....

My first RTA was a Kayfun 3.1 and it was easy to build and holds a lot of juice without any leakage issues. I thought that was the peak for vaping quality but I was wrong.

I bought an Igo-w to play around with and see what dripping was all about. I found that desert flavors and high vg juices really cry out for sub ohm drippers. At least that is from my experience. I have several drippers now (Origen, Atomic, Patriot and Magma) and find that the design element really changes the experience. To that I come to the following conclusions which some may or may not agree with but it follows for both RTA's and RDA's:

1. Smaller chamber = better flavor. The Atomic RDA has a tiny chamber and the flavor seems more pronunced than larger chamber devices. The con is there is vitually no juice well and needs to be re-dripped frequently.

2. A larger build area size is easier to start on. A 22mm diameter device is easier to build on than a 19mm. Once you get the hang of it then it is easier to navigate.

3. Fruit juices generally taste better on a cooler vape. Typically I believe fruity juices are better on a vv/vw device at over 1.5 ohms.

4. Air hole size changes the vape. Smaller air holes seem to provide better flavor but less vapor production and and tighter draw. Larger air holes provide higher vapor production and an easy draw. Having the ability to change the air hole size is a +++.

To conclude there are so many variables that change the vape experience that it would be foolish to say there is one device or build to rule them all. PG/VG juice ratio, ohms, volts/watts, chamber size, tank size, juice wells, air hole size, device diameter, battery size, Kanthal gauge, nicotine amount etc.

Again these are my personal observations and some may not agree.

Don't waste your money on an Aspire Nautilus if you have a Kayfun. The Nautilus is a great clearo but not a Kayfun by any means. Just saying!!

Yeah, I can second this advice for sure. A Kayfun costs about $.05 to rebuild. A new coil for a Nautilus, well...I would add getting a dripping atomizer is a really good idea, and it doesn't really need to be all that fancy. I DIY juice, so my drippers are indispensable to me. I also find it relaxing while I am at the computer.

Thanx for all the replys guys.... im thinking ill buy the taifun GS to take out with me on my itaste V3 and I think ill ether a trident, enigma or a brass monkey to play with at home just gotta work out which one. will drippers be ok on my mvp aswell as my mechs?

You can certainly run a dripper on your MVP as long as the resistance of the coil(s) is not below 1 Ohm (or thereabouts). I own 2 out of the 3 drippers you mentioned, and I would definitely recommend getting the Brass Monkee over the Trident. MUCH easier to build on as you have 2 positive screw terminals (instead of 1 with the trident), and you don't have to deal with those wonky cap screws like the Trident has....The Brass Monkee is a fantastic RDA for the money and provides a wonderful vape.....very fun to build on too!
