the stardust is going through many incarnations as well, there is a huge one which i was not pleased with so that is being reworked, there is a rebuildable stardusts coming down the line and the newest ones with much better plastic is on its way.
Well, that sounds interesting. A rebuildable one would be really great - screw-in tubes probably?
My general concern is simply this: Stardust *looks* good. Lots and lots of folks love how it looks, and now with the colors it's even better. It works good. I'm a bit concerned that it actually worked better in the very beginning, both wicking-wise and taste-wise (believe me, I am not imagining this, I've been vaping nothing but Stardusts since they first came out), but they still work very well.
The only thing that reconciled me to the aesthetic of the eGo (which is, let's face it, a fat tube that is just about as pretty as something bought at a plumbing supply store and painted) is the Stardust - both it's shape and the current colors. It has *style*. As opposed to the overwhelming industrial "chic" of everything else out there. You can't even imagine how tired I am of endless semi-transparent white plastic tubes, and fat black tubes, and garishly painted tubes, and stainless tubes... There is this one guy who had square tanks (can't remember who it was now) - and I was going to get me one, even though you had to stick a Boge in it and it was, like, 40 bucks, *just because it was square*. And wouldn't you know it? They are indefinitely out of stock. It's a tubular universe. Arg.
OK, so I am exaggerating (but not by much!). But you have to admit that there is practically *nothing* out there that looks anything other than industrial. Except for Stardusts.
Please don't let them ruin that aspect of it. Style is *not* irrelevant - it's very, very important.
I miss my purple Fluxos. I really, really wish you still had them. You only had them for a few months...

I don't mind the change in the innards - I haven't tried them, but I suspect they are fine. But the reason I haven't been driven to try them is that all they have are those utilitarian white tubes. Meh... More white tubes... I mean, is this just a female thing, don't men enjoy something other than tubes?

Men!..
OK, shutting up now...
P.S. Nah, can't shut up: I want wavy cartos, and square cartos and triangular cartos, I want shapes and tasteful colors (candy apple red is fine for sports cars, but most past-middle-aged females would prefer something a bit less, um, "in your face"), I want polka-dots - eh, no, forget that last, how about paisley?..
