Hmmmm, fluorescent Orange ZenCote? My very first ProVari will be here Monday if USPS keeps on schedule but I'd order a fluorescent orange in a heartbeat
Well looks like the full size gold is sold out.... Not a mini fan as I like the 18650 version.. So even though you don't have the new chip yet if you produce a Zencote Gunmetal Provari....Count me in for one.....
Zenkote isn't a special paint that was created by ZEN. Its CERAKOTE with his name on it! Contact a registered cerakote applier and have them cerakote your PV any color you please. I have been doing this on my firearms for a long time now. Zen is claiming he created this paint formula but I don't believe so, if anything he might have mixed his own colors by tweaking cerakote colors. lol
I know he didn't invent the coating but it has to be better then the ceramic coated Provaris.........?
It's a vapor deposit coating...nothing like Cerakote at all. Look it up, you might need to look under sputter coating or something like that.
Also, there are a limited supply of Cerakote colors. Virtually all of which have been used on ProVari's already. The ones that haven't, are all "gun" colors.
Where are you getting your info from??
ZenKote is not ceramic/cerakote.. it's vaporized metal...

Here's the selection of all Cerekote color options available. As you can see, they are fairly limited. If they could just mix up new colors anytime they wanted, we would have seen dark purple by now. That seems to be the most requested color in the ProVari forums. See the "Bright Purple?" Does it look familiar? It ought to.

This is my field of expertise, so to say. Im a metal refinisher. I will listen to everyones ideas and pass them along, although, i do not do the coatings on the provaris, i have worked with the material before and did the first batch of the polished provaris

I heard that PlanofMan was really hoping for a deep purple metallic. I just wanted to pass that info on about a deep purple metallic.
A great start would be to venture into DuPont IMRON. It is a bullet proof performance coating that has unbelievable staying power. My Corvette was flamboyantly painted and airbrushed with IMRON over 40 years ago... and its still at least 98% perfect after 97K+ road miles. So IMRON standing up on a ProVari would be a sure bet. Plenty of wild metallic colors to chose from too.

This is my dream color....Like a grapey or even eggplant shade of purple, but metallic.
