For me, the ProVari 2.5 provides all the features I need and extreme durability. The smooth delivery of power to my coils makes everything taste better. The P3 is a definite upgrade in features, but none of them would enhance my style of vaping, and it is beyond my current vaping budget. The replaceable 510 connector and P3 direct connection options should prove very handy over time. Should you choose a P3, you will likely enjoy it's durability and flexibility, as well as the long term service Provape offers.

I stand by my statement - without temperature protection, your P3 is stuck in 2013 technology, and I ain't paying $250 for an obsolete design.

can I interest you in an old computer that runs Windows 98? - it still works good! - was very high end LUXURY in its day!

You keep on putting it back a year every time you post - stop it!

Some of us know how to Vape and don't need temperature protection...
I wouldn't pay more than $50 for a made in China mod, like a VS...

Those young whippersnappers, coff... coff...

In MY day, we had to vape using attys made of old corncob pipes, with coils wound using baling wire, and we had only alkaline AA batteries that only gave us 2 puffs and we had to walk five miles, in a snowstorm, uphill both ways to buy more, because there was a rationing on AAs at the time. coff..., coff...

And better do not ask me about the e-liquid, son.

Dude, give up. You rock a vapor shark so imo you have zero room to spout. There are options for a reason bro. Who needs temp control at 20 watts with a tank anyway?

Listen children, if you are flaming the Provari, please stop and listen.

People who have spent a lot of money on their gears will become very defensive on their investment, rationally or irrationally. They may stick their heads in the sand and won't see the outside world. Just please stop senseless arguing and let them walk tall in their high horses of yesterday's technology, or yesteryear, or the year before yesteryear.

It's always a matter of choice, die hard smokers who will never vape, vapors who will never use box mods, vapors who will never go beyond 20w, etc, etc. It's what makes you feel happy that counts.

Who says they cost a lot of money? For what one gets they are a bargain... Not everyone wants a China box or needs to blow clouds to compensate...

You're delusional if you think they are a bargain. The only provari that's relevant is the P3, the others before that are so outdated that it's sad. I can go buy a decent box mod (be it sigelei 100w plus, ipv3, cloupor mini, any dna clone) or a number of other tubes and it will function the exact same with a fraction of the cost. It just won't have all those useless features and crappy one button menu system like the P3 has.

I know how to vape, so all I need a PV to do is heat a coil to the power I set it to and work every time...

circa survivor, not sure why all the hate on provari. Those that buy provaris don't do so soley for the power specs. Provape isn't in the wattage race with the rest of them.

I bought a second hand provari 2.5 a year and a half ago. It still works and looks as good as the day I got it. I can't say the same for many other mods that I own or owned. That kind of reliability is factored into the price and many (myself included) have happily paid for. It's hands down the most durable mod I have ever owned.

I do not provari 3, nor do I plan to. I'm not a provari fanboy. I'm currently happily vaping away on my DNA40 devices. But I do give credit where credit is do. Provape makes a damn good device that will last for a long long time. Just because they decided on a 20watt cap doesn't make the device crap compared to what's coming out of china.
