Wow. That sucks.

I can understand having some issues with the Erl or the Squape, but the kayfun and the Taifun?

I've got some sort of curse. With that said, I do expect any of the above to perform at 20 watts if I want them to and use high vg juice, so the build has to be just right. The gt2 was excellent my first build, no leaks or dry hits, ran at 20 watts just fine. But after I rewicked, it never ran right. Now I've heard of the flash e vapor v3 being driven at 90 watts, so it must be doing something right with the proper build

Ahh
That is the problem

Those tanks are made to run no higher than 15 watts

You can get just as much vape and taste, just have to take a longer draw. Believe it or not, you outta try them with 28 gauge, 3/32 mandrel wrapped to 1.75 to 2 ohms, turn it up to 12 to 15 watts.

If thats not your thing - then mebbe try dual wick gennys with stainless mesh ( cotton wicks wont keep up with low sub ohm builds like mesh)

The subtank is coming out in a 22mm, I fully intend to get one for my p3 when it's released, might be getting in on a group buy for that. They make a 1 ohm coil for them too

I have my sub tank on my p3, and while it's not flush, its still glorious, .9ohms at 19 watts is just perfect for me

Cool, that's good to hear. I have a subtank mini on the way, which is 22mm and will come real close to being flush on the p3. I'm interested to try out the build deck and see what its capable of. Will have to do something about those red o-rings though...

These kinds of threads are why I don't come here much anymore. Life's too short.

The good thing is, they have really slowed down recently.

For a while, there was a herd of trolls in here, and every other thread was "authentics are ripoffs", or "clones vs authentic", and of course the tried and true Provari troll bait threads.
Always the same people, saying the same things, knowing full well what would happen.
I am glad they went back to reddit or whatever bridge they live under.
It was as if some chan had discovered vaping.

I love this forum. The "official" P3 thread is absolutely horrendous to read; at least this one is entertaining.
I bought a P3 back in November, on a whim. I thought to myself "hey, this doesn't look like a piece of garbage." I was right, and for a $250 gamble, I really enjoyed the outcome, especially since I've never seen a Provari or used one. Threads, display, button, 510, etc. etc. are all top notch.
If it's within someone's budget, I'd absolutely recommend it. It works, what else does a guy/girl need? If you're not looking to blow some sick clouds, bro, yolo swag, than the P3 is extremely suitable for anyone.

Actually, the reddit ecr sub has almost zero trolling. It's a wonderland compared to this forum. Only problem is that it's not as organized.

Well i have actually decided against it. I just cant see spending that kind of money for only 20w of power.

I have a p3 and like it a lot, with that said I also bought a vapor flask and haven't touched the p3 since the flask was delivered. I don't usually drip so 40 watts does what I need and the temp control with nickel was something I didn't think I would use but so far I absolutely love it.

The biggest downside of the p3 for me was the battery life. It was too big (for me) in 18650 mode and it would drain my 18500s quickly. I usually have a tank set up around 1 ohm and 17 watts or so and I found myself swapping batteries a few times a day. Now with the flask I can use a dual coil nickel build at -35 watts for two days and still have a charge.

After I wrote it I thought more or less the same thing. More precisely, I figured that ecr is about the same as ecf is now.
I was too lazy/uncaring to backspace, hence the chan comment after :/

Except ecr has crappy vendor ads littered through it. lol

Jacco:

The flask outclasses the P3 in every aspect but one:
Time tested reliability with the ability to withstand an industrial level of abuse.
Diana drops hers every dang day, and mine has been run over, amongst other things. Both still work flawlessly.
The Flask may well be just as tough and reliable, but only a few years of being on the market will tell us that (both are P2.5)

Savepaper:
Well, I look at Reddit like that slightly seedy area that you always find near a university.

Good point, it feels solid but I guess we'll see. There's definitely a reason I still have a provari mini in a drawer, I know if I need a backup (to the backup I guess) it'll always be ready to go.
