For those you wishing David would make 901 caps, how about asking for at least rhodium plated 510-901 adapters... Maybe that would easier to get. I don't know, just a thought.
you and me and probably others ;-) i deep cleaned my precise today and it's a little better, but those cheapo 510-901's will never do the Precise justice. I'm digging my new Riva 901 more than the precise right now ;-) Please, please, pretty please david?!! lol you KNOW i bug you every now and then lol. like you don't have enough on your plate. I swear spare parts and options could be a whole new industry for you
He did recently post that he's hired more people. Maybe that means they'll be taking on finish work and he'll be focusing more on product development. *fingers crossed*

that would def be helpful. i put a 510 LR atty in my precise today. first time in over a year. WOW big difference in getting an instant full power hit. I never get that with my 510-901 adapters no matter how clean i keep everything or which adapter i use. the power loss in the translation is notable.
I think it would be cool if David made 901 top caps, because I dont like adapters either.
Yeah, some 901 top caps would be cool so would some quality adapters. My only concern with adapters is what juicefreak mentioned, anytime you add extra junctions electricity has to pass thru, you loose a bit, though a quality adapter could help minimize that.
Thats why the incorporated 901 top cap is a necessity!

Yes, top caps are interchangeable between the 18350, 18500, 18650

hey david, i was thinking about a 901 cap yesterday and realized that the connection would probably be much more difficult to manufacture? yep that was a backhanded question lol!
maybe that's why mods have determined that 510's are what we all need. the 901 has an outty connection on the battery end and it looks much harder to spec out right than a 510. 510's are just so simple in form.
said all that to say, we will probably never get a 901 top from any vendor for a large battery mod... lol dammit! Realizing this, maybe a high quality super T adapter for 510 to 901 could be a solution for us 901 diehards? not the standard crap ones out there, but one that is custom fit to the Precise line 510 tops. I bet they would sell like hotcakes david
