So Why are people scoping out 317L when Pure Nickel wire has super low resistance?

I mean sure you need to keep your build pretty wet or it doesn't taste great but that is always more or less true and I question vaping wires that have sulfur in them. I'd really like to see the actual report from a metallurgical analysis scanned and posted before I'm convinced Gplat and 317 L are the same thing. As far as I can tell some dude on reddit claiming to have sent the wire off for an analysis is the only actual proof that existed on line at least as of a week ago. I'd love to be proven wrong on this point if anyone has a link to a scan of an analysis (I'd like to say next to a receipt showing a purchase of Gplat but I'll take anything) I will say that reviews of royal wire say it is very similar to the Gplat one wire and it is a chromium nickel hybrid that sounds nothing like 317 L. I really hope everyone isn't just operating on reddit speculatives but that said I also really hope 317L is the same thing.

Has anyone tried both? side by side anecdotes needed please

I havent tried any of these, dont really care, but I will point out for unknowing, 317L is a type stainless steel.

I point that out, because I suspect most people wont know that.

It appears to be a welding wire. I would be worried about a flux or lubricating coating that helps the feeding and bead flow than anything else.
vappping needs a higher resistance wire . Nickel would be to low for coil building on anything other than a dna 40

Pure nickel wire is super super low. The reason its not out there is because it is 1) suspected welding wire which usually excess things that aren't good, and 2) It is as stated super low, which can be dangerous for people, which is why kanthal is popular for its resistance
